Joseph is an aspiring bioartist from New Mexico and a citizen of the Navajo Nation. Currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, he is creating "Blood Quantum," which uses his evaporated blood to visualize radiation from Navajo-sourced uraninite. He also works with oil paints, audio, set design, and writing.

He also uses colored pencils and collaborates with a comic writer on his own comic book, focusing on bold, comic-inspired styles across various mediums.
