Erica is an elementary school art teacher and an instructor of adult paint nights. Art is her way of creating her own reality and experimenting with color. She specializes in neo expressionism and surrealism. /sf

My artistic journey is intertwined with my mental health and experiences of intergenerational trauma. I have been profoundly influenced by the philosophy of "crazy wisdom." Rooted in the Sacred Fool archetype, known by various names such as trickster, jester, wise fool, Heyoka, or sacred clown. The Sacred Fool finds humor and joy in the lessons of life.
With a compassionate and loving sense of humor, I have learned to adapt and adjust, both in my art and in my approach to healing intergenerational trauma. Recognizing our role as creators of both pain and joy, I embrace the transformative power we possess to manifest a vibrant and joyful reality and reflect this in my art.
