Join us in Saint John for the first event of the New Year!

Be a part of the electrifying energy as skilled artists engage in a high-speed showdown, flinging paint with every stroke.

Come watch as artists transform blank canvases into beautiful pieces of art in 2 regular rounds of 20 minutes, and the big final round of 30 minutes! Then help vote to determine the winner of the event!

All artwork will also be available for silent auction.

Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

Jessi is a small-town mom from Charlotte County with an overwhelming passion for paint. She loves using bold colors with lots of drama! She left the corporate world in 2020 and eventually opened her own gallery and studio. Her main medium is acrylic, and she paints canvases, windows, signs, murals and anything a client asks for.

Gina's artwork is sometimes creepy, often cute. They say they live in their own brightly colored world. Gina is inspired by meeting other local artists and seeing their process. For them, the supportive nature of the Art Battle community, both artists and attendees helps boost their confidence in their work.

Emery Gillespie

Emery does custom guitars, visual development in digital art with a focus on character conceptualization, as well as freelance illustration. He feels most comfortable working on human figure and portraiture, with an elemental focus on form and color.

Kayla Doak

Kayla designs from the heart. She has always been described as "quirky" and this seems to come out most prominently through her artwork. Kayla says she is inspired by her mom and that her studio work keeps her mom's memories alive and motivates her to be the best mom. Additionally, Kayla is trained in acrylic and oil.

Sevim

Sevim likes using unique colors for skin tones and hair. She always has outstanding bright colors and enjoys drawing her own characters with their own stories. Sevim has always been interested in art, especially in cartoons as a child. She even designed her own cartoon show when she was 11.

Hope Barry

In addition to graffiti, Hope does a variety of abstract and surrealism, with a huge focus on the female form in unique, unexpected ways with many almost puzzle-like hidden details. Almost all Hope's canvases with “finished “work have numerous other ideas/attempts and countless layers.
