Naijheya was born with the gift of art and creativity. She creates through drawing, painting and creating poems and hopes to one day be a tattoo artist. She is feeling inspired to gain experience and expand her artwork at Art Battle.

Nicole, who has been drawing since she was 8, is a local artist known as being a painter at live events, even weddings! She illustrated the children's book “Where is My Voice?” When she isn't painting, she is listening to podcasts and travelling.

Being surrounded by artists and people who love the arts fuels me! Omaha is lucky to have this event and I’m floored that I get to participate! Let’s paint!

The purpose behind Mohamed's artwork is to challenge the ability to see and hear the art itself, rather than putting meaning to it. He believes it is its own entity and seeks to be seen and heard. While he is mainly focused on pottery and ceramics, Mohamed is not afraid to dive headfirst into other medias.

Chelsey Petersen, Artist commonly known as 2neuro started out with Crayola crayons and coloring books. After a career in the field following college, she decided to focus on her art. Many said she was crazy, and she was. Also, supported and successful. In the past decade her art forms and styles are constantly learning and evolving. Some of her favorites include body painting, murals, mixed media canvas work, acrylics, and photography.

I’m excited to be at Art Battle—doing it for the love of art and community! My creativity is my talent to be shared and given. I’m honored to be apart of this experience.

Lando Bando Art Factory is back! Lando Bando Art Factory is a multi-media artist and writer. Most, if not all, of his work is 3D and includes some type of texture. The energy and message he pushes with his work is to be unapologetically yourself, always.

LaTrisha's art is eccentric and abstract, brightly colored and spiritual. She prefers painting with acrylics and doing illustrations with colored pencil and pen.

Elizabeth's art leans towards the abstracted, colorful side of things. She loves doing portraits and using crazy color palettes. She likes to create art to express the current emotions she is feeling. Most recently, Elizabeth has been into graphic art and painting.

nyarok is a first generation South-Sudanese artist who uses a vast array of creative mediums to weave together her perception of the intricate web that is life and experience. By sharing art, she hopes to memorialize these sacred messages from her ancestors.
