Join us for a night of artistic excellence as skilled artists face off in three rounds of fast-paced competition. Be there as the paint flies and help choose the ultimate winner.
Then, peruse the artwork that will be available for auction and take home your own piece of the creative action. It’s a night of community, creation, and pure artistic adrenaline.

Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!
Dale's work is mostly oil paints on canvas or artist board, but he has also done pastels, pencil on paper, watercolor and photography. Dale has exhibited his work in the Reno area in places such as Artown’s Opening Jubilee, The Wildflower Gallery, and Sierra Arts Gallery, among others./sf
Laura is a figurative oil painter based out of Sparks, NV. Prior to pursuing a career as a painter, she was a soldier in the US Army. While studying art in college, she was given the freedom and tools to find her own visual language and figure out what was important to her as an artist; using art as a tool for activism and helping people empathize with each other while facilitating important but often uncomfortable conversations. /sf
Richard likes to break an image, or object down into parts, then reassemble those parts into a new version of itself. He can work in any medium he can get his hands on. After watching Art Battle, it made him want to give it a try!/sf

Brenda not only uses alcohol inks, she sometimes makes her own. In addition, she also uses watercolor and acrylic. While she considers herself a beginner, she loves teaching what she knows to others. /sf

Ray is a non-binary artist in Reno, who specializes in screen printing, illustration, wood, textiles, and acrylic painting. Their work highlights issues such as self-harm, anxiety and gender identity, using Nevada's high-desert landscape as a background and its wildlife as characters. Ray is the author of the “How did this happen???” comic series, and a workshop instructor at the generator makerspace./sf
Turburam is a Mongolian-American silhouette fine artist, born into a family of artists. He began my journey as a historical artist, learning and experimenting with paper with scissors cutting and creating different figures and ideas. He has been exhibited in over 40 worldwide locations./sf

Elizabeth is a multimedia illustration working with 3-D objects as well as drawing and painting. She enjoys copying cartoons for practice and can draw a passable self portrait with out reference, no mirror or picture./sf
Alison is an intuitive painter working in a very expressive, layered style which builds color in color and shapes and line into form. She is also a facilitator of soul art, leading immersive creative experiences to assist others in finding there own artistic voice and navigating emotional landscapes through therapeutic creativity./sf
I am excited to participate in Art Battle! Such a cool idea! I love creating in the presence of other artists also creating. As an intuitive painter, it is always an interesting journey to paint in the presence of an audience! Looking forward to what will show up!
Anela has an active interest in the dynamic synthesis of surrealism and realism. She loves creating detailed whimsical integrations of the stream of consciousness. She tries to integrate playfulness into most of what she does./sf
Piper's art is inspired from early Cartoon Network cartoons, 1950s UPA and Sonic the Hedgehog's early 2000s promotional art. They have a goal to be a character designer or storyboarder in the future and has been drawing since they were the young age of 3./sf
