Jillian is a 23 year old multidisciplinary artist from Las Vegas, Nevada and Reno area. In the spring of 2022, she received a BA in journalism with emphasis in visual communications, with two minors in Spanish (language, culture, and literature) and studio art from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has professional experience in book design and publishing, social media marketing and engagement, and independent art jobs. She has also completed graphic design work for Noticiero Móvil, an english/spanish language news outlet in northern Nevada./sf

Lauren is a self-taught water color illustrator that just started painting during covid. She saw a TikTok on a painting technique and thought “I should try that”. Three years later it’s all lead up to her being here tonight./sf

Michael's artwork is a personification of mental health and the human condition with characters that are allegories for different states of mind. The surreal scenes he paints describe his life everyday with a mental illness. However, painting brings him a peace of mind./sf

Emmalou is a multi-dimensional artist. She makes a lot of repurposed items from portrait paintings to art installations, from theme rooms to murals. Some people describe her as a dark, gothic artist. She is looking forward to challenging herself as an artist at Art Battle./sf

Most of Irvin's works have depictions of death to represent and advocate for the Mexican community. They use straight lines in juxtaposition to harder, emphasized strokes. Their works are inspired by Mexican art, specifically those of Jose Guadalupe Posada. /sf

Bernardo is a self-taught, Brazilian, abstract visual artist. He specializes in making Chromodepth art. He developed his personal style while traveling all corners from Brazil. He hopes to show people that random abstract art can be as beautiful, intense and mind blowing as the other traditional painting/art styles./sf
