Regular season event winners and All-Stars from Edmonton return for their chance to become the 2023 Edmonton City Champion and head to the Canadian National Championships in Toronto in July!

Come watch as artists transform blank canvases into beautiful pieces of art in 3 rounds of just 20 minutes, and then help vote to determine the winner of the event!

All artwork will also be available for silent auction.

Art Battle Edmonton is an 18+ event.

Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

"A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others." - Salvador Dali

At this event, I hope everyone will somehow be drawn into the hidden universe of an artist and appreciates the chaos. How powerfully one can be impacted in just 20 minutes while witnessing a creation of something out of nothing. Cheers to the celebration of art, togetherness, and sharing passions.

Alex's favorite animal is the turtle. His specializations are oil painting and digital painting. /sf

From the artist:

It's hard to make a living in the arts, there's a lot of worry and pressure, and not every project succeeds. Whether it's money, health, or love, anything can go wrong. Anyone who is sane would just quit. There is no point in continuing to do something you don't love. You've got to get crazy, you've got to go full tilt, Bozo.

From the artist:

I’m an artist and mother of 4 kids… I love my life here in Canada… but I’m Ukrainian and my heart right now with my people - with my mom, with my relatives, with my friends!!! With my country!!!
I am very grateful for everything that Canadians do for Ukraine, for their support and sympathy... I am very sorry, do not stop and do not forget that the war is on and Ukraine will win, but with your help it will be faster!!!! Thank you very much for inviting me.
