Sherly, a color theorist and realist painter, explores the boundaries of color, aiming to achieve the closest pigment to black. Influenced by her upbringing in a Latinx community and surrounded by pop culture, she also creates abstract works. With a BFA in Painting from Rhode Island College and now an art educator for teens, her artistic skills span painting, drawing, graphic design, and block printing, showcasing her diverse creative abilities.

Joan has enjoyed a diverse career, starting in automobile design and later moving into product design for crystal, flatware, and photo frames. She is also the author and illustrator of "The Magic Sceptre," a series of six children’s books. Now painting for pleasure, Joan emphasizes the importance of drawing in her creative process. She explores watercolor, acrylic, and abstract painting, incorporating Photoshop and Illustrator into her work.

I look forward to painting with all the talented painters, so much fun to see what can be created in 20 minutes.

Calvin, born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, draws inspiration for his style from life experiences and his background in graffiti. His artwork embraces textures and incorporates subliminal messages and metaphors. Alongside his role as a full-time tattoo artist, Calvin is also a dedicated clothing designer and a loving father. His art embodies abstract urbanism.

AGONZA, a female artist based in Providence, has gained international recognition while remaining beloved locally. She holds the distinction of being one of the most prolific muralists in Rhode Island, actively engaging with the community for the past five years. AGONZA is a dedicated advocate for BIPOC youth empowerment, inspiring change on a global scale.

LT is back! A self-taught artist, he describes his style as illustrative. LT enjoys exploring various mediums in his artwork, which he views through an illustrative lens. Additionally, he practices as a tattoo artist.

Jay Santiago returns with his portraits and bold colors.

Jenny, an elementary art teacher for grades K-4, delights in inspiring others to explore their creativity. Her artistic pursuits span painting, ceramics, metalsmithing, and printmaking, drawing inspiration from light and emotions. Jenny consistently reminds her students that in art, there are no mistakes, only opportunities to explore and grow.

Tsun is a Cambodian and Vietnamese aspiring artist from the south side of Providence. She juggled careers in private exterior painting and manufacturing before pursuing social work, where she continued to long for art, her true passion. Tsun was able to host art workshops with her students and collaborated with local artists like Agonza, learning what it takes to become an upcoming artist.

Briana, an expressionistic artist with Strangez Awakeningz in Massachusetts, seeks new artistic opportunities. She specializes in landscape, abstract, illustration, graffiti design, portraits, and political art. Briana enjoys pushing creative boundaries through exhibitions and pop-up shops, focusing on community causes and vibrant expressionistic styles.

One time in 2019 I was bored and started painting the walls in my apartment (my landlord sucked anyways)… but I still haven’t found a better way to make sense of things when the world gets a little crazy, so I’m going with it.
It’s weird and dark and creepy sometimes but it’s beautiful. That’s life, that’s nature and that’s why I paint 😉
