Jon’s art blends suburban themes with urban influences. His style ranges from realism to abstract, shifting between technical precision and more expressive, loose forms. While he is most comfortable using pen and ink or pencil, he is also versatile and has worked with a wide variety of media.

Working in any medium and on any surface, Jon makes art. Art to make you think, forget or to just enjoy. Art is for everyone and should be enjoyed.

Joy’s art explores life’s impressionistic and symbolic aspects. She enjoys layering colors, experimenting with different marks, and using mediums like acrylics and watercolors. Joy also finds inspiration in photography and sculpting with paper and fabric. Her quick, inventive approach to painting makes the process both dynamic and fun.

Rebecca Froehlich is a communication professional and visual artist. Rebecca has created community-based art in diverse settings, including hospitals, independent living facilities, dementia care, urban neighborhoods, and rural towns. Her preferred media are painting and fiber arts, though she enjoys exploring new projects. She also loves the outdoors, photography, and appreciating nature.

She leads Lovely’s Sewing & Arts Collective for youth, is a published author, and a motivational speaker. Keiona has spent 20 years connecting with communities through her art and advocacy.

Patti Walsh is an abstract artist who grew up in Detroit but has been living in South Minneapolis for so long that she almost understands Minnesotans now—almost. She is recently and happily retired from her role as a development director at a nonprofit music venue and is ecstatic to have time to focus on her art.

Megan’s art is colorful and detailed, with a focus on fine details. She starts projects without a plan, allowing them to develop naturally. She works with acrylics, oils, watercolors, graphite, and charcoal. Megan is quicker at drawing and excels at finding forms within figures or objects.

Andrea, a hobby artist since high school, is studying at the Milan Art Institute to advance her skills and shift to professional painting. Arlinda paints from life, working swiftly to keep her work expressive and emotionally raw. Due to aphantasia, she relies solely on direct observation, as she cannot visualize images in her mind. She can paint or draw anything she sees.

Lillian primarily uses acrylic paint, stoneware clay, and Procreate as her main mediums. Her work often reflects the changes she experiences, drawing inspiration from historical and media allusions. She frequently incorporates elements from the Baroque art movement, Marvel comics, and classical literature into her pieces.
