Hi I’m Molly, I’m a multi disciplinary visual artist studying, working and living in Wollongong. I tend to focus on acrylic painting and love to depict subjects in a surreal manner. I also love to put an emphasis on overlooked objects and moments in our everyday. I think that shining a light on everyday things uncovers more about the way we live and interact with the world around us. Illuminating the everyday exposes cultures, rituals, societal attitudes and prejudices.

I am a self-taught artist and have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I try different styles and techniques, and different materials. My works are often not similar to each other, I like to challenge myself. In the drawing, I noticed that it is important to stop at the right moment so as not to ruin the work.I paint with fruits, flowers, and sticks, and make my watercolors from stones that I find by the ocean. Recently I started teaching workshops for people who would like to learn how to be creative.
