Oliver's main subject matter this year has been birds both due to NCEA level 3 and due to his longstanding appreciation for them developed by years of living abroad. In the last Art battle Auckland, Oliver competed as the wildcard artist and made it into the finals.

Val sees her art as a reflection of her diverse and free-spirited nature. She aims for uniqueness and beauty, shaped by years of challenges. As a portrait artist, she enjoys experimenting with mixed media and found materials, recently creating a jewelry line with resin.

Asim's art reflects the resilience of the people from his land and the purity of their existence. As a realistic artist, his passion for art shines through, offering a glimpse of his roots. He enjoys working with charcoal, graphite, acrylic, and oil paints, as well as exploring videography, sculpture, and ceramics. Painting furniture is also one of his specialties.
