Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

A student of Architectural Technology at Algonquin College, she also enjoys 3D modeling, Photoshop renderings, and designing buildings in her studies.

Andrea is an emerging artist from Ecuador, a recent graduate of Algonquin College’s Illustration and Concept Art program. While she specializes in digital art, she finds her true joy in traditional media. A mother, wife, tennis enthusiast, coffee barista, and Pink Floyd fan, her skills include 2D digital illustration (Procreate and Photoshop), traditional painting (oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor, pencil), book layout (InDesign), and short animations.

His artistic journey began during a hospitalization for bipolar disorder, where he used art as a means to express emotions he struggled to articulate. Dedicated to both his creative practice and personal well-being, Logan has earned two diplomas and works in finance. He primarily paints with oils on canvas, with some experience in acrylics, gouache, and watercolor.

Jeanette Schevers
Horses are the central influence in much of Jeanette’s work, serving as her muse. However, her talents extend far beyond equine art, with a diverse range of styles and mediums at her disposal. Jeanette adapts her approach to match the needs of the subject, whether through oil paint, soft pastels, or photography. After years as a natural horsemanship instructor, she transitioned to focus on her full-time artist career in 2019.
