Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!
Anyu Sun is an Argentinian‑Canadian artist and curator based in Ottawa. Born in Buenos Aires, she grew up surrounded by design and creativity. With a background in industrial design and fine arts, she’s spent 15+ years making murals, stage designs, sculptures, and immersive installations filled with bold color, emotion, and a love for nature.
Mandy’s art explores the connection between people and the places they inhabit. Her landscapes convey the calm and strength of nature, while her portraits reveal the individuality and soul of each person she paints. Through this dialogue between subject and setting, Mandy captures the essence of both humanity and the natural world.
Mitra Salamzada is an Ottawa-based fine artist known for her bold color palettes and emotive, dream-driven paintings. Inspired by memory, intuition, and lived experience, her work blends realism and imagination to tell stories of femininity, growth, and resilience. She creates original paintings, murals, and live art experiences across Canada, focusing on pieces that evoke feeling and spark connection the moment you see them.
