Emily has been painting since 2015. She focuses on painting portraits in all kinds of mediums. Her main goal in creating art is to have fun. She is excited to try Art Battle as it is something she has never done before!

Roger is inspired by the Pacific Northwest but not just nature. Modern buildings play a huge part in the landscape. Nature and manmade structures have had to learn to play together in the landscape and this is shown in his art which is done digitally, by painting and drawing.

Christine is back! Christine has been painting since high school. She loves color and using acrylic on canvas. She calls her style abstract expressionism.

Kater's art transcends what most call "low brow" art. With a harsh yet comforting tone, its often described as a trippier Dr. Seuss. He has over 10,000 hours in using spray paint, and acrylic/brush. He also illustrates, paints murals, design clothes, makes-3d designs for toys, designs album covers, and has actually created a medium of my own, being the first person to create a saran-wrap mural.

Alex, a Canadian artist based in Edmonton, gets inspiration from a wide variety of places, genre and pop culture. His favorite animal is the turtle, and his specializations are oil painting and digital painting.

Trinidad says his art is an interrelationship between nature and man. A traditional painter, he wants the public to know his style, technique and colors of his art.

From a young age, Ettore has been honing his drawing skills. During his military service, Ettore had the opportunity to paint a monumental mural measuring 10 meters by 3 meters. In the years that followed, Ettore turned his passion into a profession, enriching spaces with his extraordinary artistry. During his journey, he also discovered a deep passion for the art of tattooing.

Nandhini specializes in contemporary art using acrylic. She loves painting human portraits with a touch of natural elements like flowers and plants. Nandhini also loves sketching portraits with graphite and charcoal.

Self-taught Mark paints with feelings of beauty and darkness and it gives him a way to express his innermost feelings and desires. He loves to create energy movement and flow in his art. He is an airbrush artist at heart and typically uses airbrush on aluminum panels.

Noel creates realism, black and white, mixed media, airbrush and digital art, though she is open to any art medium. Her art focuses on contrast, geometry, and surrealism.

James is looking forward to the adrenaline of Art Battle, as well as the challenge of completing a canvas in the 20-minutes allowed.

Elena, with an academic background, started with realism in classic techniques but her favorite remains oil painting because it gives her the full sensation of colors: texture, chroma, and glazing. Elena is fascinated with Leonardo Da Vinci as both a master and a scientist which led her to experiment with making paints and mediums.

Colorful and vibrant, Michel-Antoine's art is mainly abstract. He enjoys creating multi-layered pieces with surprising details. He has been painting with acrylic since 1998 and made various exhibits in Ottawa-Gatineau mainly between 2012 and 2022.

Melanie creates creatures, characters and cosplay. When she is not sketching her next D&D character, she is probably building a suit of armor in her basement. She gets creative through drawing, painting, digital art, illustration, and prop building/cosplay.

Eric says his art is fun and colorful with a sense of liberation and self-expression. Eric's art is an exploration of color and textures, the feeling of letting go and having fun in the process. In addition to canvas painting, Eric also paints murals.

Robbi Lee has created and sold his art since the age of 12. He has worked with many mediums of art including photo realistic paintings, pencil drawings and sculpture. Robbi Lee is known for being a fast painter and co-owns a local Thunder Bay small business with his fiancé, Zoey May, that they call Ernst Engraved ArtZ.

Elizabeth's art leans towards the abstracted, colorful side of things. She loves doing portraits and using crazy color palettes. She likes to create art to express the current emotions she is feeling. Most recently, Elizabeth has been into graphic art and painting.

Patricia's artwork is a mix of abstract and traditional. She creates through painting, sculpture, carnival art, graphic design, floral design. She can create anything with her hands.

LaTrisha's art is eccentric and abstract, brightly colored and spiritual. She prefers painting with acrylics and doing illustrations with colored pencil and pen.

At Brian's core is getting complex imagery and a sense of color---in black and white! He uses India ink and brush with minimal linework. However, he does have an incredible sense of color which he honed professionally as a background painter in animation. Additionally, Brian's work is expressive, with a strong line, and lot of charm and character.
