Caroline has always had a deep passion for art, extensively drawing portraits and the human form. Until 2019, she learned oil painting, watercolor and classical drawing. In 2022, after recovering from amnesia, she has taught herself to paint and draw again and is better than ever.

Ashley has been drawing since she was a child, even being scolded in school for it! She has been in a number of shows and had her art featured at All My Relations Gallery. She has done murals, logos and commissions for her community and loves to give her art to others to make their day brighter.

Grant Neegan is a Visual Artist who has dedicated a great deal of time strengthening his artistic abilities. Working predominantly in oil paint and charcoals on canvas, his work expresses themes of realism through the utilization of bold contemporary techniques. Preferred genres that he is known for are portrait painting, scenes of everyday life, and figure work.

Ivan is an architecture graduate and has done digital art and sculpting. He really enjoys oils, watercolors, pen and ink, pencil, and charcoal. He really loves to work on portraits. Provoking positive emotion is important to Ivan, even when representing a serious topic.

Cailey has been painting for 10 years and has had her artwork displayed in Sudbury Art Museum. She enjoys using acrylic paints and paint markers, sometimes drawing with pencil.

Maria, an artist, photographer and fashion designer says her art falls somewhere between classical art, modernism and fashion illustration.

When he is not out fishing, Karel loves to paint. He paints figurative, abstract works of art with watercolor and acrylic.

Matt is a self-taught, post-impressionist oil painter residing in Halifax. By day, he is a librarian and by night, a part-time paint instructor. He creates oil painting landscapes and still life in a traditional impressionism style.

Raiana draws quickly, in different styles. She uses mixed techniques such as acrylic, watercolor, and colored pencils. Coming from a family of artists, she has been drawing since childhood. After moving to Canada from Russia, Raiana is learning to discover art again in a new country.

Becka has been participating in Art Battles for 6 years now and has travelled to various cities to perform. Although she mainly runs her family business as a Certified Balloon Artist, Becka takes any opportunity to get out to paint and be creative!

Sam Braithwaite moved to Toronto from Peterborough to pursue education and later a career in animation. After several years of animation studio experience and a few self-produced animated independent music videos, Sam now teaches figure drawing at Seneca Polytechnic in the animation program. She continues to work with independent musicians on animated music videos and is expanding on her painted work.

Topics in his work come from experiences of growing up queer and masking his identity from others for approval.

Chelsey Petersen, Artist commonly known as 2neuro started out with Crayola crayons and coloring books. After a career in the field following college, she left behind her B.S. Diploma from Creighton University. She decided to focus on her art. Many said she was crazy, and she was. Also, supported and successful. In the past decade her art forms and styles are constantly learning and evolving. Some of her favorites include body painting, murals, mixed media canvas work, acrylics, and photography.

Katherine working under the pen-name Schizostylus (pronounced skizo-stylus) works in a variety of mediums, such as digital, ink, pencil, watercolor, and acrylic. She has been working as a full-time independent freelancer since 2015 primarily selling digital commissions and comics. Having spent the last decade working on her online portfolio she is now interested in building up her real media (acrylic and watercolor) work as well as get back into live painting (which she did regularly back in the early 2010s).

Jouirnoe is a graphic designer and muralist who has been creating professionally for over 16 years. His skill set is depth and detail. He likes his work to pull the viewer in or trick them with the illusion that the art is jumping out at them with his view of perspective.

Nadine is a multi-media artist that strives to bring life to every piece created. She creates through watercolor, gouache, acrylic, texture painting, murals, sketching, digital media, 3D models and printing, as well as airbrush, sculpting and plant arrangements.

Carissa is back! Carissa is a multidisciplinary artist who works with a ton of mediums. She loves flowers, bright bold colors, as well as doing illustrations.

Kyle is an interdisciplinary, conceptual artist focuses on the intersection of nature and humanity. She recently launched a brand called In the Raw, Art which celebrates and empowers women through art. Kyle also collaborates with DJ’s and musicians to create intuitive art and live performances.

Bardia started drawing and painting as a kid. Today, he is a creative artist, storyboard artist and concept artist.

Bret's art is full of emotion and life. His paintings pull from street art and graffiti and are mixed with principles adopted from his graphic design work.

Trinidad says his art is an interrelationship between nature and man. A traditional painter, he wants the public to know his style, technique and colors of his art.

K describes her artwork as a balance between the technical and the chaotic aspects of what we can perceive and create. K says conveying emotions and feelings on a canvas has given her a different way to communicate. She can create with anything if given the chance.

Evan says his art is fun and it doesn't take itself too seriously. The goal of his art is to make you happy through its bold, graphic, and playful nature. His mediums of choice are acrylic, spray-paint, airbrush, and plain pen and ink.

Marianne enjoys both highly realistic representations that she draws from the many photos she loves taking, as well as the faster and loose semi-abstract styles in both her watercolors and acrylics.

Starting with urban sketching, Ernest eventually got into watercolor and plein air painting. He paints mostly landscapes and urban scenes, usually painted on location. Ernest is currently interested in exploring oils and a more abstract quality to the paintings.

Tiffaney believes eyes are the window to the soul and because of that, all her portraits and/or character designs start out with the eyes to get an understanding of where the piece is going to lead her. For the last three years, she has been working on painting skills and has delved into acrylic, gouache, watercolor and now oil paints.
