We’re back for more! Join us on Friday for an amazing night of live art!

Join us for a night of artistic excellence as skilled artists face off in three rounds of fast-paced competition. Be there as the paint flies and help choose the ultimate winner.

Then, peruse the artwork that will be available for auction and take home your own piece of the creative action. It’s a night of community, creation, and pure artistic adrenaline.

Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

Her sources of inspiration include works by artists such as Alice Neel and Takaski Murakami, as well as comics and animation.

Erica Hill

Erica's art is inspired by nature and the dichotomies of life and death. She reflects on the phenomenological experience of being part of a natural cycle or global web. Often blending natural elements with spiritual, surreal, or synthetic aspects, Erica creates work that challenges perception. A self-taught painter, she transitioned from 3D art to 2D a decade ago to align with a more transient lifestyle.

Sarah Yocum

Sarah is a whimsical goth artist from Reno, Nevada, who started her artistic journey in 2017 as a chalk artist. Over the years, she has expanded into window paintings and murals. While she primarily works with traditional art forms like drawing and painting, Sarah enjoys dabbling in a variety of mediums.

Howdy, I'm your neighborhood whimsy goth. I am a local artist who started back in 2017 as a chalk artist. Throughout the years I have progressed into doing window paintings and murals. This is my second time competing here at art battle and I'm excited to be here!

Deniz Nicole

Deniz Nicole is a self-taught artist known for her pyropainting technique and immersive installations, like Carousel Candeo and Kaleidoscope Kando at Burning Man. Her piece I Loved You won third place at the 2024 Reno Tahoe International Art Show. Based in Reno, she creates art and teaches through Arts for All Nevada, aiming to reconnect people with wonder and interconnectedness.

Joe Hunt

A former English and Art teacher, Joe holds degrees from Brigham Young and UMass Amherst. He enjoys glass-blowing and stained glass and focuses on watercolors and oil pastels in his work as an illustrator.

Her preferred mediums include pencil, blending colored pencil, watercolor, and acrylics.
