Her sources of inspiration include works by artists such as Alice Neel and Takaski Murakami, as well as comics and animation.

Erica's art is inspired by nature and the dichotomies of life and death. She reflects on the phenomenological experience of being part of a natural cycle or global web. Often blending natural elements with spiritual, surreal, or synthetic aspects, Erica creates work that challenges perception. A self-taught painter, she transitioned from 3D art to 2D a decade ago to align with a more transient lifestyle.

Sarah is a whimsical goth artist from Reno, Nevada, who started her artistic journey in 2017 as a chalk artist. Over the years, she has expanded into window paintings and murals. While she primarily works with traditional art forms like drawing and painting, Sarah enjoys dabbling in a variety of mediums.

Howdy, I'm your neighborhood whimsy goth. I am a local artist who started back in 2017 as a chalk artist. Throughout the years I have progressed into doing window paintings and murals. This is my second time competing here at art battle and I'm excited to be here!

Deniz Nicole is a self-taught artist known for her pyropainting technique and immersive installations, like Carousel Candeo and Kaleidoscope Kando at Burning Man. Her piece I Loved You won third place at the 2024 Reno Tahoe International Art Show. Based in Reno, she creates art and teaches through Arts for All Nevada, aiming to reconnect people with wonder and interconnectedness.

Joe Hunt is an artist and writer known for blending politics with creativity, featuring figures like Trump and Elon Musk in works such as Trash-F8ce and The Adventures of Barron Trump. A former English and Art teacher, Joe holds degrees from Brigham Young and UMass Amherst. He enjoys glass-blowing and stained glass and focuses on watercolors and oil pastels in his work as an illustrator.

Elizabeth is a multimedia illustrator who works with 3D objects, as well as drawing and painting. She is college-educated and able to work quickly when needed. Elizabeth enjoys practicing by copying cartoons and can draw a passable self-portrait without reference, mirror, or picture. Her preferred mediums include pencil, blending colored pencil, watercolor, and acrylics.

Alice is a self-taught digital artist who creates fanart and original characters, often reflecting her personality and experiences. She enjoys drawing people, especially women, and embraces a messy, spontaneous process. With little formal art training, Alice recently started taking art classes and has minimal experience with painting. She creates without the pressure of inspiration or specific ambitions.

Vincent is a versatile artist known for his realism and portraiture, with a passion for exploring various mediums. He paints on unconventional surfaces like wood, tarps, shoes, and glass, embracing spontaneity in his work. As a young muralist, he's painted at places like Mira Loma Skate Park and Keystone Bridge, collaborating with local artists like Hannah Eddy and Ray Valdez.

TerAsso’s art centers around moral realism, her long-standing creative focus. Her work can be dark, colorful, or a blend of both, often marked by intense detail and focused expression—whether across the whole piece or concentrated in a single point. She works primarily with pencil shading, painting, and occasionally charcoal.

Geneva is a self-taught mixed media artist with a strong passion for painting. She works with acrylic, watercolor, and chalk, and enjoys performing in art competitions and live painting at special events. Her style leans toward the surreal and abstract, with a focus on recreating emotions on canvas. As a performing artist, she often incorporates singing and dancing into her live painting sessions.
