Sarah Christie
Instagram: @ArtBy_SarahC
Sarah is a self-taught artist whose work is deeply inspired by the world—its nature, its people, and its intricate complexities. She boldly explores subjects that are often left unspoken, with a particular focus on mental health and feminist issues. Her pieces resonate on multiple levels, sparking conversations and inviting viewers to confront areas of controversy and societal norms. Sarah primarily works with acrylics but often incorporates mixed media to bring her visions to life.
If you’re looking for an artist who blends sharp humour, historical critique, and a rebellious streak, you’ve found her. A painter who thrives on controversy and conversation, she isn’t afraid to challenge norms—whether through feminist themes, dark wit, or bold reinterpretations of iconic imagery. Despite being rooted in a small town that doesn’t always embrace her vision, she refuses to be confined, constantly pushing her work into new spaces. With a background in running an art club for children, a love for mixed media experimentation, and a drive to break boundaries, she’s here to shake things up—on canvas and beyond.
