Varvara Mikhelson
Varvara is an architect and graphic artist who graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute and previously taught academic drawing there. Now based in Montenegro, she enjoys drawing local scenery, urban landscapes, and industrial cityscapes, which are an important part of her work. Varvara has participated in Art Battles in Moscow and Germany and enjoys the challenge of the format. She believes quick sketching, or clausura, is an important exercise for artistic growth, providing motivation, positive creative stress, and an engaging way to develop as an artist.
