Vancouver Island artist Algebra specializes in two contradicting mediums: watercolor and fire. Self-taught, her creations prioritize experimentation and play. Her work with gunpower, in particular, is constantly evolving. Her works can often be found scrawled across 3D wooden structures such as stumps or driftwood, and on occasion are returned to the natural environments they were collected from.
