Maddie Hake
Instagram: maddieehake
Maddie Hake was introduced to art at a young age and was particularly inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe. Drawing became her go-to entertainment when she was grounded, but it wasn't until senior year in high school that she learned proper techniques. Maddie worked as a face painter in San Diego, where she began posting her creative makeup photos online and getting booked for gigs and shows. She eventually moved to Vegas to focus on her art, and through a Facebook group, she got a sponsorship to be an artist at First Friday in Las Vegas. There, she met Robin Slonina, a host/Executive producer of Skin Warz, who brought her into several projects/opportunities. Maddie ranked 3rd in the US for face painting at the World BodyPainting Competition during the pandemic. She then moved to Omaha, where she volunteers at the Bemis Center and plans to build her portfolio with more paintings portraying people's emotions with a focus on women. Maddie is currently putting together a proposal for a mural cube for BFF Omaha and obtaining a residency at the Bemis Center for 2024.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to showcase my work and network with fellow artist's. This is one of the most unique events I've done as an artist, and am very thankful for it.
