Jane's aim is to invigorate viewers through the use of energetic compositions. She works in both representational and abstract styles. She loves working with watercolor because of its unpredictability. Jane considers her pieces fleeting, freeing, and playful.

Employing her own physicality through the mediums of body printing and body painting, she forges a profound connection between her art and herself. Bridget's work is inspired by the body, female experience, ancestry, and her connection to spirit.

Deeyah is a self-taught, abstract artist working in Greater Western Sydney. Being an artist has always been a long-held aspiration for her. Through her art, she expresses work of freedom and authenticity. Deeyah creates abstract surrealism of humans, animals and nature, working in a variety of mediums and materials.

Mark likes to create art that is spontaneous and full of energy. For him, there is no planning or preconceived idea on what it has to be, he just lets whatever come out and do its thing. Mark almost didn't finish high school because he doodled on his exam papers!

Ani creates with watercolor, acrylic, graphite on paper and canvas. She also does photography, editing and videography. Her art contains bright colors, self-portraits, florals and free flow. Ani's skillset includes resin art and pottery.

Art is freedom to create whatever you want to create in all forms .

Charles, a traditional artist, creates landscapes and portraits using pen and wash, oils, and really anything! He loves to include things that artists leave out including drainpipes, wires, etc. He loves painting, drawing and sketching outside from real life.

Barka, originally from Hungary, is a graphic designer and illustrator. Since 2019, she has been helping brands in France and Australia with their graphic and communication strategies. She also has her own brand, where she uses her colorful style to paint and illustrate landscapes. She has worked on posters to brighten up homes and created fun collabs with brands.

So excited to be part of this amazing showdown at the Sydney Art Battle! I'm pumped to throw down some pastel coloured magic on the canvas and see where my creativity takes me in just 20 minutes. Can't wait to meet you all, as well as the fellow talented artists. Let's make some colourful memories together!

Orly has been drawing since she was a child and is an internationally recognized body painter who specializes in mimetism and live body art transformative installations. She appreciates art that inspires change, evokes emotion, and touches the places that are hard to get to. As an anthropologist, Orly's message circulates around humanities awakening to our differences, our similarities, and intends to act like a spoke of disruption for the sake of harmony on Earth.

As a visual arts teacher in a behavioral school, she navigates the intricate landscapes of expression, molding minds with the transformative power of art. Beyond the classroom, she's curated immersive art workshops along the sun-kissed shores of Bondi Beach, weaving threads of inspiration into the souls of adults from all walks of life.

Hey I’m Rosie from a town called Middlesbrough in England. I moved to Sydney almost 2 years ago and teach Visual Arts in a behaviour school. I’m that quirky, silly art teacher that creates a fun and creative space for the imagination to run wild. I love creating in my own time using watercolours, acrylic and oil paints. I’m looking forward to spending time with everyone and watching other beautiful artists create some amazing work.

Mikel likes to draw ideas from the decayed urban environment and takes pleasure in the aesthetic of texture on weathered walls, as well as layers of advertising material glued and painted over many times over the years. He loves the work to look crude and like it has been ripped off an old wall.

I love trying to capture things that people don't usually see. The beauty in things that we generally don't stop to notice or appreciate.
