Mark likes to create art that is spontaneous and full of energy. For him, there is no planning or preconceived idea on what it has to be, he just lets whatever come out and do its thing. Mark almost didn't finish high school because he doodled on his exam papers!

Charles, a traditional artist, creates landscapes and portraits using pen and wash, oils, and really anything! He loves to include things that artists leave out including drainpipes, wires, etc. He loves painting, drawing and sketching outside from real life.

Barka, originally from Hungary, is a graphic designer and illustrator. Since 2019, she has been helping brands in France and Australia with their graphic and communication strategies. She also has her own brand, where she uses her colorful style to paint and illustrate landscapes. She has worked on posters to brighten up homes and created fun collabs with brands.
So excited to be part of this amazing showdown at the Sydney Art Battle! I'm pumped to throw down some pastel coloured magic on the canvas and see where my creativity takes me in just 20 minutes. Hey I’m Rosie from a town called Middlesbrough in England. I moved to Sydney almost 2 years ago and teach Visual Arts in a behaviour school. I’m that quirky, silly art teacher that creates a fun and creative space for the imagination to run wild. I love creating in my own time using watercolours, acrylic and oil paints. I’m looking forward to spending time with everyone and watching other beautiful artists create some amazing work.
