Watch as talented artists transform blank canvases into stunning masterpieces in just 20 thrilling minutes per round. Be part of the excitement by casting your vote to help crown the champion.

The painting begins at 7:30 PM! The venue is wheelchair accessible, making sure everyone can enjoy the arts.

Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

Bernie Lukacs

Bernie Lukacs is a graduate student at Seton Hill University, working towards a Master of Art Therapy with a Concentration in Counseling. During his Art Intensive class in the summer of 2023, he created 92 individual pieces of art over the course of 10 weeks. He works with various media and recently took part in Art All Night in Pittsburgh, where he created a live painting during the event.

Chloverfeld

Chloverfeld creates his “fantasyscapes” intuitively, without sketches or plans—just colors, a sense of adventure, and his imagination guiding the brush. He enjoys working with acrylics on canvas, often mixing in spray paint or markers. Previously, he spent years drawing detailed mandalas with permanent markers, finding the process therapeutic. He also finds satisfaction in building intricate collages, carefully collecting and arranging each element over time.

Bob Freyer

Bob is an award-winning artist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, now based in North Huntingdon. Born in 1980, he grew up inspired by cartoons, imagination, and artists like Bob Ross, later influenced by hip hop, BMX, and graffiti culture. Since 2013, he has created daily, evolving from pop art with spray paint and stencils to original works using diverse materials like acrylics and oils. His art draws on childhood memories, personal insecurities, and moments often hidden by adulthood. Inspired by his two young kids, Bob paints primarily for himself, using his work as a way to express his experiences and view of the world.

Sharazar

Suzanne Werder

Suzanne, a multidisciplinary artist from Edinboro, PA, has been featured in the Pittsburgh City Paper and Post-Gazette, with her couture shown at events like the Ecolution Fashion Show and Pittsburgh Vegan Festival. She founded the Busnegie Museum of Art, turning bus shelters into free galleries for local artists. Suzanne has taught art internationally and at Pittsburgh schools including Duquesne University. Her work highlights marginalized materials and people, revealing the extraordinary in the everyday.
