Michelle Osborne

Michelle started as a self-taught artist, using painting as a form of meditation and flow. Over time, her intuitive style evolved from colorful abstracts. In 2020, she trained as an Intentional Creativity Coach, incorporating intention and inquiry into her work. Her current approach, called Medicine Painting, channels meaning and movement into layered, character-rich stories.

From the artist:

Michelle began as a self-taught artist, using painting as a way to meditate and tune into flow. Through this daily practice, she developed an intuitive painting style where images emerged from colorful abstracts.

In 2020, Michelle trained to become an Intentional Creativity Coach and began adding intention and inquiry to her creative process. The result, her current style, is best described as Medicine Painting.

As a creative channel, Michelle creates paintings through which meaning and movement emerge, translating the energy of flow into layered stories rich in character and meaning.

Lucien explores how emotions are expressed through the human form using a surrealist approach. While his art has traditionally supported comics, game design, and animations, he is now focused on capturing complete stories in a single image. With a background in digital art, including 2D and 3D animation and game art, Lucien is also refining his skills in traditional drawing and painting to broaden his artistic scope.

From the artist:

I love that there is such a passion for art in Seattle and I'm dying of both excitement and nervousness at the opportunity to compete and share my work with everyone!

From the artist:

I'm so excited to become part of this event! I have never painted in a live competition before. I cannot wait to give it a try. I have been painting as a self-taught artist for over 20 years and love to explore the world with colors. The Pacific Northwest is my Canvas tucked in my brain file number....no idea brain organized like an artist's studio...I just love art no matter what it is and embrace this world. Lets bring on this competition.
