This is a fundraising event for Untapped Art Therapy a non-profit Art Psychotherapy Charity – who provide Art Therapy to vulnerable children and young people in the Bournemouth area; our work helps prevent youth suicide and self-harm.
Art Battle Bournemouth is an 18+ event.

Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

Suzy is back! She often creates something new with each painting, influenced by her mood. Although she originally learned to paint with oil, she has been working with acrylics for over 15 years. She loves storytelling and experimenting with mixed media.

Sophie creates vibrant abstract and surreal art that reflects playfulness, power, and freedom. Influenced by René Magritte, she started with whimsical illustrations of fish with legs and now combines organic elements in her work, like fish emerging from bananas or mushrooms with eyes. She enjoys acrylic paint pouring, fine liners, pastel pencils, and photography.
After competing in the last art battle, I'm excited to join in for another night of creativity alongside many local talented artists! The event will be raising funds for Untapped Art Therapy who support vulnerable young people during times of need. It's a fun night and for a good cause!

Jaynisha, a Bournemouth-based illustrator and animator, draws inspiration from anime and video games. At 25, she holds a BA in Illustration (Animation) and excels in creating vibrant, anime-styled art. Originally from Northampton, she now enjoys experimenting with various mediums, including digital pixel art on her 3DS and traditional mixed media, using Clip Studio Paint for her digital creations.
