Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

Sid is a self-taught artist who views art as a gift and a deeply personal form of expression. Guided by instinct and emotion, he transforms blank canvases into vivid, story-filled works that reflect a fusion of faith, feeling, and creativity.
Andrea MacLeod
Andrea MacLeod is not only a decorated Canadian Forces Veteran but also a fashion model and captivating painter renowned for her distinctive style, which she aptly calls “spontaneous realism.” Her portraits, whether of people or animals, have received widespread acclaim for their vibrant colors and profound emotional resonance, capturing not merely the likeness but the very essence of her subjects. Employing a unique fusion of traditional techniques and an intuitive process, Andrea creates works that deeply resonate on a personal level.
Atena Salehi
Atena is a multidisciplinary artist whose creations bloom from love, not perfection. Working with acrylics, markers, and mixed media, she weaves vibrant textures that echo the rhythm of her breath and the depth of her meditation. Every piece unfolds spontaneously — a conversation between color, spirit, and the present moment. Rooted in mindfulness and driven by intuition, Atena channels her spiritual experiences onto canvas, transforming inner stillness into radiant motion.
Chia-Yu (Chloe) Chen
Chloe is a Toronto-based illustrator and painter with a background in fashion design. She captures meaningful moments through live art at weddings and events, while balancing work as an interpreter and tutor. Passionate about showing her kids that it’s possible to do what you love and get paid, Chloe is building a future where art is both her passion and her profession.
Joely Sosnovich Raphael
Joely is a 2024 BFA graduate from York University, now beginning to explore the Toronto art scene. Long interested in Art Battle, she’s excited to finally take part and showcase her work in a live setting.
Keenan D'Abreo
Keenan is a live painter originally from Dubai, now based in Toronto. After years of attending Art Battle as a spectator, he’s stepping into the spotlight as a competitor. He has painted at social and corporate events across Canada, driven by the energy of live audiences and the challenge of creating bold work under time pressure.
Lev Levner
Lev Levner is an artist working with acrylic pouring techniques and resins, primarily on canvas. Since beginning in March 2019, Lev has focused on abstract contemporary painting, continually exploring texture, flow, and color through experimental methods.
Martin Russocki
Martin is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative journey began early as the son of an architect. He has co-created large-scale immersive installations and tabletop games and now focuses primarily on painting. His work explores perception, social dynamics, and the tension found in dense urban environments, alongside commissioned portraits and landscapes.
Natasha Kudashkina
Natasha Kudashkina is a complete artist, equally comfortable on skin, canvas, screen and concrete. She has done commercial work, live painting, gallery shows, murals, videos and custom art. Her work is inspired by human and natural beauty and is overflowing with fantastical imagery and the stuff of dreams. In her view, it is this space, and its hidden meanings, that unites all people.
Nisreen Askar
Nisreen is a multidisciplinary artist based in Mississauga who works across live painting events, murals, and art workshops. She explores abstract and impressionist styles using oil and acrylic, drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature. Her goal is to share creativity that adds beauty to her life, city, and community.
Pablo Gil
Pablo is a mixed media artist and tattooist known for creating trippy, dark, and collectible artwork. He specializes in black and gray realism and cover-up tattoos, blending fine art techniques with bold, expressive style.
Samuraink 01
Samuraink 01 is a Chilean artist whose practice spans tattooing, graffiti, and oil painting. He specializes in color realism and black and grey tattoo work, and took home the Art Battle victory in January.
