Exiled Royal is a visual artist who loves creating alternate realities and thoughtfully curated reflections of memories, thoughts, and emotions using whatever artistic medium is available to her within a given timeframe. Hello Art Battle friends! It is a joy to be able to return this May and partake in such a unique means of creation through Art Battle. Art has proven to be a, simultaneously, challenging and rewarding opportunity to explore landscapes filled to the brim with memories, dreams, and themes related to mental health. I’m excited to share what I’ve created during this immensely special event!

Gabriel Antonio is a self-taught artist whose vibrant and expressive paintings are born from a journey of personal transformation. Five years ago, during a period of marital separation, he discovered a passion for art, initially exploring the fluid dynamics of color through paint pouring. This process, free from the perceived pressure of brushstrokes, allowed for an intuitive understanding of color relationships, sparking a love for bold, luminous hues.
