A. Mayawetsky
Born in Ukraine, Andriy Muzychenko is a contemporary artist currently based in the United States. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Monumental and Decorative Painting from the Lviv National Academy of Arts. Working primarily with oil and acrylic, his practice explores expressive and symbolic dimensions of the human form and emotion.
Big Ben is a native San Franciscan who has been drawing since childhood, known for his quick, realistic pen drawings and painterly paintings. He often sketches with a ballpoint pen in public and transforms those sketches into large-scale paintings. His work captures both precision and expressive brushwork, reflecting a lifelong dedication to art.
Carlos is a self‑taught muralist born and raised in San Francisco’s Mission District, painting murals for over 50 years. His style blends impressionist, cubist, pop art, and traditional Chicano/Mexican mural influences. His work also reflects decades of social and political movements for justice and human rights, from the 1970s to today.
Jennifer Charboneau is a Reno‑based contemporary painter whose work has been shown internationally and collected across Europe, Australia, South Korea, and Mexico. After earning her BFA in 2008, she spent five years traveling as a nomadic muralist. She now creates from her home studio, working in minimalist, gestural abstractions influenced by nature, travel, poetry, and global art movements.
Kayl is a San Francisco–based mixed media artist who paints large murals along with vintage clothing and canvases. He’s been drawing since childhood, inspired by his father’s sketches, and started skateboarding at seven. For him, art and skateboarding naturally connect—both spark creativity and take him to new places where any wall or surface can become part of his work.
Marcell is a former thespian and lifelong art enthusiast. He paints as a way to ease what’s been left unattended, finding calm in the process and letting entropy soothe him.
Mario Guitron
Over a year ago, SMURKS1, also known as Mario, began his journey with Art Battle and has become deeply captivated by it. He values the friendships made with fellow artists and the opportunities from the Art Battle team. Constantly pushing boundaries, his skills include painting, illustration, digital art, toy photography, sculpting, and amateur photography.
Mitsuko is a painter whose love for art began almost before she could walk—her mom swears she started drawing at two. Painting is where her creativity feels the most free, and she explores many styles rather than sticking to just one. She’s also a professional tattoo artist, and the two practices fuel each other: tattooing sharpens her technique, while painting keeps her imagination open and evolving. Both let her tell stories through art, which is what she loves most.
Roxana’s artwork is a classic rendering of things imagined similar to retro cartoons, to whimsical depictions of animals in a variety of interesting scenarios. There is always a twist into the dark side of life.
Sara is a retired dreamer turned art student, now exploring watercolor, acrylic, oil, and printmaking. Her work draws inspiration from nature, ecology, animals, and LGBTQ+ themes—blending curiosity, care, and vibrant creativity across every medium she touches.
Tetiana is a Ukrainian artist and teacher with 25+ years of experience. Founder of TBart Studio in San Francisco, she teaches watercolor, pastel, acrylic, InkArt, and FluidArt to all ages. Her Sip & Paint classes spark creativity in a warm, welcoming space. Tetiana also creates custom hand-painted designs on clothing and accessories. Winner of Art Battle SF, she blends skill, emotion, and joy in every brushstroke.
VeraPaints is a self-taught artist who started painting in 2018 after being inspired by large immersive art at Burning Man. Since then, she’s completed 3 well received gallery shows, murals, installations, designed an art AirBnb, and led group immersives and art shows. She is known for recycled art, creative use of color and figurative work to remind the viewers of their own potential. She won round one art battle in Reno.
