Caroline M Hosick

Caroline M Hosick

Caroline has been making art for as long as she can remember. She takes on portrait and architectural commissions but unwinds with bright, patterned pieces. She works in acrylic, graphite, and pen and ink, and teaches art to kids and adults. In the summer, she runs a lively art program that keeps young artists creating.
Clara Whittaker

Clara Whittaker

Clara is a multi-disciplinary artist currently fully devoted to oil painting and is continuously learning the craft. She's currently exploring the craft of Claude Monet through mastercopies, a small series of French pastries, while also developing original art which combines feminine portraits and their skeletons. This skeletal series is delicate reminder that beneath our hair, skin, and muscle are carefully intertwined bones, the strong but also fragile pillars of our being.
Dominic Pirro

Dominic Pirro

Dominic is an introspective artist and philosopher who began their journey at a young age, creating portraits that capture the essence of life. Influenced by personal experiences, including their father's battle with schizophrenia and the complexities of family dynamics, he has always sought to explore profound questions about reality, identity, and the meaning of existence. After years of soul searching and travel, Dom took a bold step, selling everything to embrace a simpler life as a recluse in a cottage in the forest. During this time he focused on art, self discipline and the obscure world of relationship. Now, as a tattoo artist and painter, Dominic specializes in portraits of both animals and humans, using their art to convey messages that transcend words.
Heather CarGio

Heather CarGio

📍 Ottawa, ON, CA

Heather's art is a vivid blend of nostalgia, whimsy, and surreal humor. Her paintings bring playful characters and familiar icons to life with expressive eyes and bold color palettes. Her work balances sweetness with strangeness, often fusing childlike innocence with a slightly uncanny twist. Her style is instantly recognizable with imaginative portraits, quirky food figures, and dreamlike scenes that feel both comforting and mischievous.
Louis Samson

Louis Samson

Louis is a Haitian artist who uses graphite and charcoal as his voice. Every portrait is a new adventure, each one telling its own story. He’s not trying to replicate an image—he’s chasing the emotions behind it and letting them lead the way. His mission stays simple: to inspire generations through his art.
Mitra Salamzada

Mitra Salamzada

Mitra Salamzada is an Ottawa-based fine artist known for her bold color palettes and emotive, dream-driven paintings. Inspired by memory, intuition, and lived experience, her work blends realism and imagination to tell stories of femininity, growth, and resilience. She creates original paintings, murals, and live art experiences across Canada, focusing on pieces that evoke feeling and spark connection the moment you see them.
Murillo Murals

Murillo Murals

Murillo Murals is Ottawa‑based and Mexico‑made, a lifelong painter working mainly in acrylic across murals and canvas. His art is all about expression, story, and presence. He’s big on community, diversity, and human rights. Full‑time nonprofit worker with a full‑time artist mindset, he creates murals for businesses and public spaces, plus interior, exterior, and canvas art across Ottawa.
Suzannah Robertson

Suzannah Robertson

📍 Ottawa, ON, CA

Suzannah, a two-time Art Battle City Championship finalist, has been a Paint Nite instructor since 2015. She is a former portrait artist with a BFA who stepped away from commissions to fall back in love with painting under pressure. Her work ranges from literal to expressive, cerebral to emotional—always reflecting the moment she's in.
Westin Church

Westin Church

Westin is a Canadian artist and animator who loves creating the weirdest things possible. A childhood obsession with drawing grew into a long animation career, branching into digital art and old‑school painting with real brushes and paint. He’s all about monsters, cryptids, Halloween, and anything spooky or strange, mixing bright, bold colors with humor and whatever creatures his brain cooks up. Making art is the medicine that keeps him alive, and years in animation mean he’s rock‑solid at creating on a deadline.
