Andreās art has shifted a lot over the yearsāfrom Impressionist landscapes to abstract cubism to comicāstyle work. He loves playing with color, texture, and big brush strokes, and lately heās been diving into spaceāthemed pieces that mix abstraction with wide, dreamy landscapes. What he loves most about Art Battle is the vibe: supportive artists who feel more like a community than a competition.
Anyu Sun is an ArgentinianāCanadian artist and curator based in Ottawa. Born in Buenos Aires, she grew up surrounded by design and creativity. With a background in industrial design and fine arts, sheās spent 15+ years making murals, stage designs, sculptures, and immersive installations filled with bold color, emotion, and a love for nature.
Binita creates from intuition and energy rather than rules or realism. She uses color as an emotional language, letting each piece grow and unfold on its own. Her work reflects cycles of release, growth, and awakening, offering space for grounding and connection.
Crocus is a young social work graduate and artist from Gatineau who uses creativity to heal and hopes to inspire others to do the same. She works mainly in acrylics, turns to poetry when her heart feels heavy, and lends her graphic design skills to humanitarian projects.
Kristina explores community and Canadian identity through expressive landscapes, city scenes, and familiar everyday moments. Sheās drawn to places where people gatherāgardens, canals, neighborhood streets, forestsāand creates work that feels uplifting, grounded, and connected. Her paintings live comfortably in homes, public spaces, and anywhere people come together.
Mandyās art explores the connection between people and the places they inhabit. Her landscapes convey the calm and strength of nature, while her portraits reveal the individuality and soul of each person she paints. Through this dialogue between subject and setting, Mandy captures the essence of both humanity and the natural world.
Melanie is a graphic designer and cosplay creator based in Ottawa, ON, with a passion for art. When sheās not drawing original characters, sheās often inventing new cryptids. She is also a proud girl mom and dog mom.
Mitra Salamzada is an Ottawa-based fine artist known for her bold color palettes and emotive, dream-driven paintings. Inspired by memory, intuition, and lived experience, her work blends realism and imagination to tell stories of femininity, growth, and resilience. She creates original paintings, murals, and live art experiences across Canada, focusing on pieces that evoke feeling and spark connection the moment you see them.
Peter is a professional project manager who leads his company, Peer Metrics. He began painting by accident 12 years ago and is entirely selfātaught, focusing mainly on portraits that now fill his home. When heās not creating or leading, he maintains a strong interest in giving back to the community and has been active in volunteer work, especially in river preservation.
