Alex Anastas
Alex Anastas, born & raised just outside of New York City, has lived in Sydney, Australia, on and off since 2006. Dabbling in a bit of everything with art over the years, Alex makes paintings & drawings based around the psychological concept of synesthesia, particularly capturing the salon aesthetic of performance in a live setting.
Asha is a metalsmith, jewelry maker, harpist, and artist behind Brutal Jewellery. Her work leans into dark humor and raw honesty, creating pieces meant to make you pause and think, “Huh. Well, they tried.”
Audrey is an artist who brings to life what’s hidden beneath the surface, telling stories through intense emotion and capturing those feelings in her work.
Brinty started giving painting a more serious crack about a year ago, and now here they are. A typical Aries from Dharawal country, they’re inspired by the silly and cute things in life. When not painting, they enjoy live music and talking to their cat.
Daniela is an artist with a background in architecture and design, and she also works as a tattoo artist. Her practice explores the balance between structure and intuition, inspired by human connection, vulnerability, and transformation. She enjoys spontaneous creation and live painting, where presence and energy guide the work. She has participated in Art Battle before and loved the experience—the energy, the live creation, and the connection with the audience were incredibly inspiring.
Davide is an Italian artist who moved to Australia 11 years ago, with a background in architecture and graphic design that shapes how he sees the world. Cities sit at the heart of his work—their structure, rhythm, imperfections, and hidden stories. Through drawing, he explores architecture and emotion, precision and spontaneity. He works across digital illustration, pencil, markers, charcoal, and ink. Living between cultures influences his perspective, blending heritage, adaptation, memory, and transformation.
Jared’s wrapping up his graphic design diploma, screaming vocals for hardcore band Withstand, and once nearly lost the skin off his right nostril thanks to an unvaccinated dog. He’s usually deep in digital art but is pushing himself out of his comfort zone and trying new things.
Mehmet is the creator behind Memorph and a designer who builds LEGO concepts, character‑driven visuals, and detailed pencil art. His work leans into expressive eye studies and sketch‑based compositions, blending storytelling through both digital and traditional techniques.
Tyron is a multidisciplinary artist who moves fluidly between digital and tangible mediums. He works across graphic design and filmmaking while using visual practice for personal expression and skill integration. His artistic work includes collaborations and activations for brands such as Nike and Champion. He continues to explore art as a bridge to connect with himself and others and hopes Art Battle will encourage him to keep practicing his skills and ability to work under pressure.
Vikash is a fashion visual designer who lives and breathes fashion, beauty, and art. He plays with color and texture in both fashion content and painting, creating work that is fearless, romantic, and bold. He treats his paintings like a fashion palette, layering elements to express emotion. His muse, Aishwarya Rai, has inspired over 100 portraits. He works across oil, digital, and mixed media, and creates digital fashion content daily.
Through his practice, Zane seeks to strike a balance between formless expression and a meditative style of painting. He aims to embrace both human and physical nature through his work.
