Emma Williams
Emma Williams is an artist based in Montreal and Ottawa, working primarily in painting with occasional explorations in drawing and sculpture. Her practice investigates femininity, posthumanism, nostalgia, and the shifting relationship between nature and humanity. Through surreal imagery, she expresses her own humanity while inviting viewers to interpret her work through their personal experiences. Rooted in emotion and connection, her art hopes to evoke feeling above all else, offering space for reflection and transforming fleeting emotions and subconscious thoughts into something material and felt.
Faith Seguin
Faith has been painting since she was a kid, using art as an outlet and a way to capture the calm beauty of nature—sunsets, clouds, trees, anything peaceful. She loves the Ottawa art scene and hopes to jump in, especially to test her speed‑painting skills and have fun sharing her passion.
Isabella Fraboni
Isabella is a young artist who works in ink, colored pencil, and acrylic, creating fun creatures and animals inspired by how she sees the world. She loves experimenting with new media and has a blast watching art competitions. Getting the chance to compete alongside other passionate artists would be a dream for her.
Jennifer Robitaille
Jennifer is an Ottawa artist who paints with acrylics, oils, and watercolors, telling stories from lumberjacks on the Ottawa River to wildlife with human quirks. She’s been following the local Art Battle scene and is excited to jump in, challenge herself, grow, and have a ton of fun doing it.
Kat Kostina
Kat is an Ottawa maker who creates handmade projects across sewing, crochet, knitting, painting, and design. She works as a designer during the day and spends her off‑hours crafting a wide range of handmade pieces from her home workspace.
Marina Blaze
Marina Blaze is an Ottawa-based oil painter and OCAD University alumna who isn’t afraid to turn up the heat. After a 2025 artistic sabbatical in the heart of Algonquin Park, Marina has returned to the city with a fresh perspective on the Canadian wilderness. Her work blends traditional landscape aesthetics with urgent themes of climate change and inaction. It's her passion and energy that brings her to fun fast paced events like Art Battle.
Olga Birsa
Olya is an artist born in Moldova and based in Canada since 2009, specializing in textured wall art that brings warmth and character to any space. Her work combines visual and tactile elements, inviting viewers to connect with her pieces on a deeper level. In addition to exhibiting her work at the Candy Art Exhibition and workshops at the Ottawa Art Gallery, Olya actively teaches textured art classes, helping others explore their creativity and develop their own artistic voice.
Stefan Tzekov
Stefan has competed in Art Battle a couple of times and loves the push it gives him outside his comfort zone. He’s spent about 15 years in the animation industry as a backgrounds supervisor and painter, and on his own time he designs, draws, and paints worlds and characters for his own IPs. He also sculpts creatures digitally in ZBrush.
Victoria
Victoria is an Ottawa tattoo artist who focuses on custom pieces inspired by nature, symbolism, and personal stories. She loves collaborating with clients to create work that feels thoughtful, lasting, and completely their own.
