Benjamin Nollette
Benjamin is inspired by what is mysterious and not often thought about — the sacred and the natural, both at once. He’s looking to spread his name around and contribute to the growing creative culture.
Brittany wants to challenge herself and take the opportunity to meet fellow artists. Creating with others feels inspiring and she hopes it will help shift her perspective for new pieces. She’s heard great things about Art Battle and wants to experience it herself. She paints abstract art with acrylic, creating vibrant, colorful pieces full of movement, sometimes incorporating zentangles and patterns.
Candi J works across multiple disciplines, creating bold acrylic paintings, custom jackets, graffiti-inspired mixed media, and Afro-centric pieces. She is also active as a singer, rapper, songwriter, and tattoo artist, bringing her creativity into both visual and performing arts.
Chelsey lives at the Harvester Artist Lofts in Council Bluffs, IA, and works in mixed media, acrylics, and body painting. She has been featured in solo and group gallery shows and has competed in Art Battle, where she values the support of the Council Bluffs and Omaha art community. Chelsey also works PRN in a nursing home, extending her creativity to residents through activities.
Freedom Andrew loves making art and meeting new artists. They’ve never been in an art battle, and the experience feels like it would be lovely. They created Conscious Star Pickup, a non‑profit organization focused on cleaning up pollution on the planet and within the mind, body, and soul — a call to be the solution to the pollution.
Jordan is an illustrator, comic artist, and animator known for bright colors, dynamic action, and humor running through everything he makes—from monsters to everyday politics. He loves turning the unsettling into something funny and engaging. A self-taught creative, he also teaches animation and runs his freelance business, Jordan Scribbles LLC. Whether working digitally or getting his hands messy with paint, he’s all about creating art that sticks—and he’s ready to battle.
Julian enjoys many things and loves to chat. His friend Mark participates, and that inspired him to get back into his creation bag. In his time, he sketches, learns to draw and shade. He wants to participate because he knows it’ll be fun.
Mark has loved drawing since childhood, spending each day sketching whatever came to mind. Over the years, he has seen his skills progress, which continues to motivate him to create more and pursue his passion for art.
Orlandis, also known as Lando Bando Art Factory, is a full-time, self-taught multimedia artist. His bold, unapologetic work celebrates individuality and freedom. From acrylic on canvas to 3D mixed media, he explores diverse textures and forms. He has exhibited solo and in groups, created skate deck artwork, and twice reached the Art Battle finals.
Sheena has been a professional artist since 2019 and has sold several paintings across the US. She paints for fun and for commission, and she loves it. She has never competed before but knows she would enjoy the experience, especially the chance to be around other artists.
Simone is a 30‑year‑old artist from Houston, TX. Her art meets at the corner of absurdism and expressionism with a magic touch of mixed media. According to Simone, she’s bad with words and great with painting.
Vicente is a 35‑year‑old Latino artist living in Omaha, Nebraska. He’s been drawing and painting for as long as he can remember, learning entirely through trial and error. His inspiration comes from his love for his family and for art, often striking like a sudden flash that pushes him to create.
Yasmin Henderson is a multidisciplinary artist and art therapist whose work lives at the intersection of healing, identity, and emotional expression. Through bold color, abstract forms, and intuitive movement, she transforms internal experiences into visual storytelling. Her creative practice is deeply rooted in self-discovery and liberation, inviting viewers to feel, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
