Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!
Deborah’s been making art and painting since she was 9 and will paint on just about anything—guitars, vans, walls… you get the idea. She’s never been in a competition before, but this felt like it could be a blast. Her friends suggested she go for it, and they’ll be there at the battle cheering her on the whole way.
Jen Hintz Eggers is a lifelong resident of Delaware and maintains a studio practice at The Delaware Contemporary. Her work is centered on sacred geometric patterns and illustrative details with personal symbolism. She is a painter using markers, acrylic, and oils.
Keziah is a 19-year-old art student and proud “weird kid” who embraces cringey fandoms, alt fashion, and all things creatively free. She works mostly in oil and acrylic, drawn to the slow, detailed process—making art battles an exciting challenge. She's here to push her limits and grow by learning from fellow artists.
Sakana is a 54-year-old self-taught artist who found freedom and healing through creativity. What began as pencil drawings for his children became a powerful love language—one that tells a story of redemption and raises awareness about mental health, connection, and hope.
I am an artist and poet who creates to glorify God and to share light and hope with others by drawing them into another world. Inspired by impressionistic works such as van gogh, i create from an imagination gifted to me. My favourite mediums are digital and gouache.
Taniel is an experienced designer, illustrator, marketing artist, painter, and now author! She creates assets, visual collateral, and packaging that help bring digital and physical content to life. She’s passionate about using digital illustration to help people grow and learn.
