Donald is an artist who, for decades, has made illustrations and comic book art that combines his cultural heritage with his vivid imagination and desire to see images that reflect not only his surroundings but his vantage point of Afro Futurism. Armed with an intense knowledge of the human form and structure as well as self-study (and experience within) of the Diaspora; Donald has created custom characters for indie comics, developed an entire universe of stories and lives as well as done work through commissions to turn even the average person into the heroes of their dreams.

Emmanuel Gray, otherwise known as Worldsgraytest Art, is an artist from Philadelphia known for his abstract creations. Emmanuel creates vibrant works that touch on various aspects of mental health, often through the portrayal of emotions. Emmanuel, taught as a special education teacher for two years and also has experience in behavior health as well. With this experience, he seeks to create beautiful works of art for business and residential areas to promote positive mental health for customers and families.

Geraldo TheKingofTransit Gonzalez

Geraldo is a Puerto Rican American artist based in Wilmington, Delaware. He is first and foremost a transit artist, known colloquially as “The King of Transit.” He sources material for his artwork from his trips on local transportation systems in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Geraldo is a prolific multimedia artist, working in colored pencil, acrylic paint, watercolor, digital photography and video. He has been a member of the Creative Vision Factory in Wilmington since its opening in 2011, fostering a mutually beneficial, long-lasting relationship with the organization. Geraldo has exhibited widely throughout Delaware, in solo shows at the Creative Vision Factory and MarketPlace Gallery, and group exhibitions at the Delaware Art Museum, the Delaware Contemporary, Chris White Gallery, and more.

Irina Angelova Turner

Irina Angelova Turner is a Delaware-based abstract artist recognized for her distinctive string-painting technique. Her work explores movement, energy, and human connection, reflecting a passion for both artistic innovation and community engagement. She is an art curator who has organized exhibitions for multiple venues regionally, including partnerships with the City of Wilmington (group exhibit “On Time” at the Urban Artists Exchange is up until the end of June). Irina strives to cultivate opportunities that celebrate and strengthen Delaware’s vibrant arts community. She is incredibly proud to be a co producer of Art Battle Wilmington along with Kim Lucas and to be a part of the amazing Art Battle team. Irina is also a member of the Delaware Art Alliance and The New Castle County Public Arts Commission, where she continues to expand her advocacy for the local creative community.

Jen Hintz Eggers is a lifelong resident of Delaware and maintains a studio practice at The Delaware Contemporary. Her work is centered on sacred geometric patterns and illustrative details with personal symbolism. She is a painter using markers, acrylic, and oils.

K.O. Simms is an impressionist artist who works mainly in acrylics with palette knives, backed by decades of experience in watercolor, pen and ink, and pastels. He’s spent over 20 years painting landscapes, cityscapes, and figures along the Atlantic Coast. With a background in graphic communication and media, he’s also a natural teacher, known for making art feel easy and approachable for any age.

Kat is a mixed-media and multimedia artist, performer, and poet. She participated in Art Battle Wilmington in 2025 and was also the spotlight poet at another Art Battle. She’s also taken part in Poetry Battle DE/PA. Her work blends visual art, performance, and poetry.

She is co-producer of Art Battle Wilmington and producer of Art Battle Philadelphia, where she creates dynamic, community-driven art experiences that foster connection and expression. She aims to combine her passions through a future role as an art therapist for hospice patients and their caregivers, blending creativity with compassionate care.
