Drawing from her background as a painter and sculptor, she has transitioned into a career as a props builder and scenic carpenter for film, TV, and theater.

Laneigh is a non-binary, Canadian artist based in Toronto, Ontario. Their art is a breakthrough from their childhood in Sarnia, Ontario, a place far-removed from black people and culture. Now, they explore how authentic expression brings one's vibrant inner world to the eyes of others. Laneigh centers Black and Queer individuals and uses Impressionistic color with lively detail to mirror the beauty of their reality.
