Join us on Saturday August 24th at Academy LA for an unforgettable night of creativity, competition, and community at Art Battle Los Angeles, presented by Sharpie Creative Markers.

The DJ spins and drinks are served as creativity sets the stage!

12 Artists Battle it out in three 20-minute rounds. Audiences and judges vote for the winners.

Are you a marker savvy artist? Do you know one? There are $5,000 in prizes including a $2,500 cash prize! Additional prizes include a ticket to the Art Battle National Championships in San Francisco in October, and cash prizes and Sharpie prizes for runners up. Applications open Till August 7th. Apply now @ artbattle.com/apply – preference to local LA artists, but travel payments possible, so go for it! Paid participation plus auction share and prize potential.

Shay Houchen

Clovis Schlumberger

Clovis Schlumberger is a multimedia, Franco-American artist, performer, and animator based in Paris and Los Angeles. He completed a five-year cycle at the École des Beaux-Arts of Paris. He is particularly interested in semiology, visual codes, and the ways languages are established. Inspired by Renaissance painting techniques, he has experimented with how the geometry of image composition influences content perception.

Olivier Arsene Ganthier, known as OliGa, is a Haitian visual artist and designer. Adam Radick, a Chicago native based in Hollywood, is an artist, muralist, actor, and comedian. Recognized for his murals and top high school art honors, he studied Entrepreneurship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After a decade-long break, he resumed painting, inspired by LA street art, and was a 2013 RAW visual arts nominee and semi-finalist in Hollywood.
