Glen Sergy is an Edmonton artist whose process mirrors his story: make a mess, make decisions, then refine it into something meaningful. Trained in graphic design with a BA from the UofA, he explored many mediums while working outside the arts. Since 2019 he’s been a Paint Nite mentor. He still creates his own projects, jumping between mediums but always following the same playful, expressive process.

Joseph specializes in hyper-realistic abstract and contemporary art. He has had the privilege of showcasing his work in numerous art exhibitions, museums, and various art events. Joseph has also garnered success in multiple painting competitions in the United Arab Emirates and the Philippines.

Kate is a self-taught acrylic painter who began her artistic journey in 2018. Her work often features scenic landscapes—especially mountains—and reflects a love for experimentation and growth. Now competing in her third art battle, Kate brings enthusiasm and gratitude to the canvas, celebrating the creative energy of every artist involved.

Katherine is back! A visual artist from Edmonton, Katherine specializes in realism and nature's beauty. She's hoping at this event, that everyone will somehow be drawn into the hidden universe of an artist and appreciate the chaos.

Song is an oil painting artist who likes to surprise you to show how scribbles can turn into masterpieces. Using limited colors, she creates portraits, landscapes, and ocean views on canvas. Song specializes in traditional painting and digital art.

Laurel is a self‑taught Edmonton‑based artist who has been creating for as long as she can remember. She’s drawn to the challenge of bringing an image to life from a blank canvas, blending the uncanny elements of surrealism with the precision of photorealism. Working mainly in acrylic, she values its fast‑drying nature and strong pigmentation, using contrast and intentional negative space to engage viewers. As a freelance artist and theatre designer, she’s proud to be part of Edmonton’s thriving arts community.

She works primarily in water-based media, layering abstract backgrounds with realistic elements drawn from her own photos, memories, and travels—always with a loose, expressive touch.

Max, a professional artist and 3D animator, loves creating vibrant palette knife paintings. Originally from Ukraine, he moved to Canada in 2013 and also incorporates elements of Ukrainian National Painting into his pop art works.

Viktoriia is a creative artist who loves painting and all forms of visual expression. She creates original artwork, customizes a variety of objects and items, and also works as a tattoo artist. She genuinely loves her profession and enjoys creating unique pieces that hold meaning for the people who receive them.

Raevyn Berg is a vibrant artist from Calgary, now based in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Her playful, expressive work—featuring bright colors, drips, and mixed media—celebrates imagination and the inner child. A Milan Art Institute graduate and Art Battle competitor, Raevyn’s pieces connect deeply with viewers of all ages.
