Andre Gardiner

Andre Gardiner

šŸ“ Ottawa, ON, CA

Andre’s art has shifted a lot over the years—from Impressionist landscapes to abstract cubism to comic‑style work. He loves playing with color, texture, and big brush strokes, and lately he’s been diving into space‑themed pieces that mix abstraction with wide, dreamy landscapes. What he loves most about Art Battle is the vibe: supportive artists who feel more like a community than a competition.
Anyu Sun

Anyu Sun

Anyu Sun is an Argentinian‑Canadian artist and curator based in Ottawa. Born in Buenos Aires, she grew up surrounded by design and creativity. With a background in industrial design and fine arts, she’s spent 15+ years making murals, stage designs, sculptures, and immersive installations filled with bold color, emotion, and a love for nature.
Binita Thapa

Binita Thapa

Binita creates from intuition and energy rather than rules or realism. She uses color as an emotional language, letting each piece grow and unfold on its own. Her work reflects cycles of release, growth, and awakening, offering space for grounding and connection.
Corrina Reed

Corrina Reed

Corrina is a landscape designer by study but an artist at heart. She’s inspired by nature, small everyday moments, color, and play. Her paintings lean into whimsy and vibrance as she experiments with oil, acrylic, watercolor, and oil pastels. A big animal lover, she’s created plenty of pet portraits and even painted a mural of family pets for a boarding kennel. You can often find her sketching in cafĆ©s or parks, using her art to explore her feelings, identity, and the world around her.
Crocus D'automne

Crocus D'automne

Crocus is a young social work graduate and artist from Gatineau who uses creativity to heal and hopes to inspire others to do the same. She works mainly in acrylics, turns to poetry when her heart feels heavy, and lends her graphic design skills to humanitarian projects.
Kristina Murray

Kristina Murray

Kristina explores community and Canadian identity through expressive landscapes, city scenes, and familiar everyday moments. She’s drawn to places where people gather—gardens, canals, neighborhood streets, forests—and creates work that feels uplifting, grounded, and connected. Her paintings live comfortably in homes, public spaces, and anywhere people come together.
Mandy Kaur

Mandy Kaur

Mandy’s art explores the connection between people and the places they inhabit. Her landscapes convey the calm and strength of nature, while her portraits reveal the individuality and soul of each person she paints. Through this dialogue between subject and setting, Mandy captures the essence of both humanity and the natural world.
Melanie McDonald

Melanie McDonald

Melanie is a graphic designer and cosplay creator based in Ottawa, ON, with a passion for art. When she’s not drawing original characters, she’s often inventing new cryptids. She is also a proud girl mom and dog mom.
Mitra Salamzada

Mitra Salamzada

Mitra Salamzada is an Ottawa-based fine artist known for her bold color palettes and emotive, dream-driven paintings. Inspired by memory, intuition, and lived experience, her work blends realism and imagination to tell stories of femininity, growth, and resilience. She creates original paintings, murals, and live art experiences across Canada, focusing on pieces that evoke feeling and spark connection the moment you see them.
Peter Jan Karwacki

Peter Jan Karwacki

Peter is a professional project manager who leads his company, Peer Metrics. He began painting by accident 12 years ago and is entirely self‑taught, focusing mainly on portraits that now fill his home. When he’s not creating or leading, he maintains a strong interest in giving back to the community and has been active in volunteer work, especially in river preservation.
