Been an artist since the age of 10 and although I've put some stuff aside to raise my family it would be awesome to get back in it and see where I'm at. Mostly fantasy, cartoon/comic book style art. Painting, watercolour and copic markers.

I am an Ottawa based self taught artist who is obsessed with creating different pieces that challenge me! I specialize in wildlife realism and pet portraits. I have a creative side that is waiting to be unleashed and incorporated into my realism. I’ve opened my own company and looking to get more involved in our art community. I’m kind, fun and determined to expand and grow as an artist. I love nothing more than getting immersed into a canvas for hours on end so I have no idea how 20 minutes will go but couldn’t be more excited to be considered for this battle. Art isn’t just my hobby, job or passion, it’s my life.

I'm a landscape designer by study, but artist at my core. I'm heavily inspired by nature, life's little moments, color and play.
I try to capture whimsy and vibrance in my paintings through forms and exploring new mediums, from oil paints, acrylics, watercolors and oil pastels.
I'm a huge animal lover, so I've created many pet portraits and recently a mural of family pets for a boarding kennel. I'm often exploring my practice by sketching in public at cafes or scenes in the park, to working through my own feelings and identity like a vibrant journal page.

I am a multimedia artist who has been creating artwork within the Ottawa community since 2009. I am passionate about expressing stories, meaning, and emotion through visuals in the form of painting, photography, videography, animation, and tattoo body art. My paintings often feature bright colours and combine elements of impressionism with fine detail, and I enjoy experimenting with various painting methods and mediums to explore new creative possibilities.

I am a portrait artist who finds inspiration in the stories written on people’s faces. My artistic style combines oil and watercolor, with watercolor being especially powerful for me in capturing delicate details and expressive moods in portraits. I love experimenting with different approaches—whether it’s the limited Zorn palette, plein air painting, or tonalism—each adding new depth to how I explore light, color, and emotion. What drives me most is connection: the ability of art to bridge cultures, spark conversations, and share the resilience and beauty of the human spirit.

I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember - and apparently, my kindergarten reindeer drawing (complete with ALL FOUR legs) was the first sign that art would be a lifelong pursuit. Art has always been a part of my life, evolving from a childhood pastime into a quiet but constant companion.

In high school, I was fortunate to receive recognition through the Young at Art competition, which encouraged me to keep exploring my creativity. After one “conventional” year in university, I decided to follow my instincts and switch to a fine art program.

Today, I’m a full-time working professional based in Ottawa who continues to create art as a passionate side practice. My work has often lived in the hands and homes of friends and family, shared as personal gifts rather than public displays. Whether it’s painting, sketching, writing or a little bit of wood working, I’m inspired by the balance between everyday life and creative expression.

Outside the studio, you can usually find me enjoying the simple pleasures of good company, great food, and a well-poured glass of wine - because inspiration comes in many forms, and mine always comes from a full soul.
