Adriana McBride
Adriana McBride is a fine artist and ecologist who paints with mud and natural pigments, drawing inspiration from ancient rock artists, cave painters, and masters like Leonardo da Vinci. Her sculptures, splatter works, and abstract landscapes channel the raw essence of the land—crafted from the land itself—honoring nature and calling for its restoration and protection.
Anthony Jimenez is a muralist and educator, residing in San Francisco CA. His mediums include acrylic on canvas, pencil/charcoal, and digital painting/illustration, with an emphasis on portraiture. He uses his art to engage and educate the community, creating dialogue about social issues and vulnerability — by exploring politics, self-reflection, & imagination.
Jae is a new SF artist who mixes their love of anime and nature into dreamy, fantastical wildlife pieces. They play with bold colors and unique shapes to highlight the magic of the natural world. They’re loving the creative energy here and the people who stay true to themselves and show up for the arts.
JJ is a realism‑leaning artist, engineer, and brand architect who thrives on turning ideas into functional systems. He loves breaking from precision to create quick, expressive pieces, and approaches creativity with the same curiosity he brings to materials, mechanics, and design. After rebuilding his life in San Francisco, he now channels that resilience into community, collaboration, and world‑building with intention and momentum.
Over a year ago, SMURKS1, also known as Mario, began his journey with Art Battle and has become deeply captivated by it. He values the friendships made with fellow artists and the opportunities from the Art Battle team. Constantly pushing boundaries, his skills include painting, illustration, digital art, toy photography, sculpting, and amateur photography.
Marlene is a Latin‑American artist born and raised in San Francisco. While she loves her work in childcare, her lifelong passion is art in all its forms. She paints with saturated colors and blends realism, symbolism, and surrealism to create vivid, expressive imagery. After attending an Art Battle and falling in love with the atmosphere, she’s excited to step into her first competition and share her skill publicly.
Missy is a Colombian artist who came to the Bay Area to share and conquer with her art. Working across painting and illustration, she lives by the motto: “I think what I say. I illustrate what I think.”
Nicole is an Oakland-based interdisciplinary artist whose creative process taps into flowstate, intuitive experimentation, and interconnected energy, embracing psychedelic imagery and abstract expressionist aesthetics. Proficient in painting, photography, graphics, illustration, and textiles, Nicole seamlessly transitions between roles as a live painter, photographer, and multi-disciplinary creator.
Stephen is a lifelong artist and Parsons School of Design alumna, and co‑founder of an artist collective now managed by Atelier for Healing, where he serves as co‑executive director and board member. Based in San Bruno, he also serves as Arts Commissioner for San Mateo County’s District 1 and as Culture & Arts Commissioner for the City of San Bruno. He creates and helps manage the AFH collective at Tanforan Mall while maintaining a home studio in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. His large‑scale paintings explore depth and color through organic forms, blending impressionism with touches of realism.
Trinity is a graphic design student at Laney College with a deep love for all forms of art, especially painting. Drawn to bold color, expressive imagery, and the craft behind design, she finds inspiration in vintage ’50s Kellogg’s ads and hand‑painted signs from the ’60s. She’s eager to grow, create, and be in community with artists who share her passion. After her first art show, she’s excited to take on new challenges, and Art Battle stood out as a unique opportunity to push her skills and show her work publicly.
Tsungwei is a San Francisco based artist and educator whose work spans a wide range of media, including mixed media painting, printmaking, and ceramic sculpture. Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, she studied Mass Communication before emigrating to California to focus on fine art. Her work is diverse in both media and content; focused on mixed media painting, printmaking, and ceramic sculpture, with themes that focus on social justice, nature, conservation, and public engagement. Her works are also in the permanent collection at the San Francisco International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, and Taiwan Art Bank.
