Sam is a student studying visual arts. They have 3 pet rats named Marshmallow, Houdini, and Popcorn. Their friends say they always have strange facts at the ready!

Aileen's art is a little psychedelic and whimsical. Usually, she tops her paintings off with a piece of nostalgia, smashing together her favorite things: tv, movies and color. Aileen works mainly in acrylic, but she loves to dabble in mixed media.

Jenna grew up in Saltspring Island, giving her access to a very art-forward community. For her, art has been a way to remember, explore, learn and anchor in who she is, reminded of the beauty and movement in life. Jenna says she struggles to name her pieces because art has been her way to express her perspective and opinions without needing to make sense of it.

Arpequin works in traditional painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, photography, digital painting and sculpting, move and videoclip production. She is also a writer in poetry, lyric composition and short stories. In addition to her varied background, Arpequin also acts, does musical composition and production, and tattoos and does makeup.

Teagan is a multidisciplinary artist who uses primarily salvaged and repurposed materials. Because it is a challenge working with mediums she hasn't previously used, her work is ever evolving and does not have one specific style or technique. In addition to drawing and painting, she also worked with screen printing, photography, jewelry making, graphic design, pottery and mural work.

Hieidi loves to experiment with creating art centered around animals. This began as a fascination of the unique feelings each animal invokes within us. You rarely see a straight line in her paintings because she loves to create a fluid, hypnotizing effect in her work. Additionally, Hieidi loves to hide hidden messages within it.
