As an artist, Lauren's quest towards finding her painting style has been filled with exploration. It began in her grandparent's art studio as a child. She found herself drawn to blending different styles together in one piece and colors became her playground. Now, her art is a reflection of her journey to today.

Kenny paints realism and portraiture. He conveys the depths of emotion through rich colors and vibrant hues. He uses primary colors in all his paintings and only mixes them to achieve all the hues and additional colors.

Mayzie has been a teacher in Title I and III schools for 5 years. She creates through acrylic and oil painting, printmaking, love letters and art education.

Has her dream job, combining a Title I and Title III space with museum caliber art education, and now teaches art education in Oakland Unified School District at Lockwood Elementary.

WhiteCandy paints modern, abstract, impressionism. He works with all media (minus film). He says his soul is telling him to show you what he can do with a number of thick, wet colors and a paintbrush within 20 minutes.

Kelly is a multi-media artist, video artist and muralist. She likes to combine her passion with art through video and music that she edits with the poetry that she writes. Not only is it therapeutic for her but hopes it will heal others.
