Katie is an elementary art teacher and roller derby skater who brings a sense of whimsy and fun to her abstract and landscape paintings. She explores emotion through color, texture, and playful design, aiming to spark feeling and curiosity in the viewer. While painting is her main focus, she also enjoys working with alcohol inks, polymer clay, digital art, weaving, braiding, and origami—often sharing these creative pursuits with her students.

After attending an Art Battle I couldn’t resist applying myself. It is such a cool, creative, unique event and I am so excited to be a part of this Art Battle!

Jenna is beginning to share her vibrant, colorful art with the public. Passionate about art since age six, she enjoys painting animals and people using bold colors that make her work unique. Painting is a calming outlet for her, and she first painted live at age 15 during Art Battle. Her favorite mediums are acrylics, pencil, and digital art.

Elijah Carson is a Nebraska-based artist and Studio Art graduate from UNK whose work spans drawing, printmaking, graffiti, and digital media. Beginning with street art, he was drawn to its raw expression and unfiltered voice. His practice now blends traditional and digital techniques, exploring themes like masculinity, mortality, and identity. Through layered textures and bold experimentation, Elijah aims to challenge norms and spark reflection.

vom.dotcom has been drawing since as long as she can remember. She creates through drawing, painting, photography, and collage. She is thrilled to be painting among the art community.

Alex is an illustrator based in Omaha, specializing in pen and ink and figurative art. His work often explores the tension of the decisive moment, when a scene reaches its peak. Recently, he’s taken a break from personal projects to study master comic artists like Joshua Cassara and Marte Gracia. While primarily working traditionally, Alex has also embraced digital art. His favorite tools include fat black markers, ink-well fine point pens, pencils, and his drawing tablet.
