Jim Middleton
Instagram: Jimmiddleton.art
Jim Middleton, an artist from Fredericton, began his career on the Art Battle stage six years ago. He has been drawing with pencil and ink since childhood, but it is only in recent years that he discovered a passion for painting with acrylics. Jim aims to bring realism to his artwork, using vivid colors inspired by the dreamy effects of water and light in the world around him.
February marks 6 years since Jim 1st started painting right here at art battle. I owe my current art career to stepping on this stage. Thank you art battle!
Aneas MacInnis
Instagram: renaissancewoman.ca
Aneas creates landscapes, cityscapes, and portraits. She began with pencil and charcoal portraits as a child and later studied fine art under Jennifer Pazienza, developing a passion for oil painting. Inspired by a solo trip across Europe, she focused on landscapes but spent years away from painting. In the past year and a half, Aneas has pursued art more seriously, primarily using oil paints, though she also works with acrylics when time is limited.
So happy to be a part of Fredericton's exciting and growing Arts Community. Painting is all I want to do and I wish I hadn't let that passion stay dormant for so many years.
Life is short... Find what inspires you and don't look back.
