Nikitaa is a self-taught artist inspired by Indian culture, known for her vibrant, textured works that blend traditional motifs with contemporary style. She works with acrylics on various surfaces and also enjoys sketching and watercolor. After witnessing an Art Battle, she was inspired to challenge herself creatively and now joins the competition to grow, learn, and share her unique vision.

Yana is a Ukrainian artist and professional tattooist with a background in academic drawing and design. Her work blends realism, symbolism, and emotional storytelling through vibrant compositions that explore strength and fragility. She has exhibited across Europe and worked internationally as a tattoo artist while developing personal painting projects. Growing up in a small village, Yana’s deep connection to nature shapes her art. Skilled in oil and acrylic painting, digital design, and color theory, she specializes in realism with soft transitions, notably merging her painting and tattoo work in her “Flamebrush” project.

Afnan is a visual artist specializing in painting and drawing. She works with oil and acrylic paints and creates drawings using pencils, pens, and charcoal. She also explores mixed media artwork.

Jessica’s work combines portraiture with psychological themes, exploring the human psyche and internal emotions through expressive art. A graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, she is now a full-time middle school art teacher and has recently launched a live portrait business. While her strengths lie in oil painting and charcoal drawing, Jessica enjoys experimenting with photography, sculpture, and installations, embracing a wide range of artistic mediums.

My work is an extension of the emotional and existential threads that shape my lived experience. I am excited to compete and showcase my work in a way that is incredibly out of my element. This is a reminder to stay curious, take chances, and enjoy the vastness the world has to offer.

Rebecca is a multidisciplinary artist and painter whose work explores identity, emotional maturity, and the human condition through a semi-surrealist lens. Grounded in color theory, she creates emotionally resonant pieces using oil paint and digital tools. With a Master’s in Interactive Media Arts from NYU, Rebecca blends art with technology, working in AR, app design, and digital storytelling.

Cassandra is an acrylic painter inspired by Impressionism and bold color contrasts. Though she works as a chemical engineer by day, painting remains her true passion. She recently won an art battle in Reno, Nevada, before relocating to Philadelphia. Primarily working with brush and knife in acrylics, Cassandra has also begun exploring digital art.

This is my third art battle, but my first since moving to Philly! Excited to meet everyone 🙂
