Jacob is a versatile artist whose work spans from landscapes to figures, often blending elements of surrealism and liminality within predominantly realistic scenes. Their artistic journey began in childhood with graphite and charcoal, expanded to acrylics after high school, and eventually led to oil painting in 2019. In addition to painting, Jacob also practices photography.

Bernadette is an artist drawn to the dark, creepy, gory, and unsettling. Her distinctive style has earned her recognition as a previous Art Battle finalist.

Wendy began painting just three years ago, inspired to pick up a brush after watching an Art Battle event. She quickly developed a love for working with acrylics and continues to explore her creativity through the medium.

I have only been painting for 3 years, but after watching an Art Battle, I decided to give it try. I love using acrylics which is perfect for this competition! You may have seen me at the Art Walk, but I am extremely excited to give this a try!

Kid Idealist is an artist whose work blends elements of cartoon and realism. He explores a variety of styles and media—ranging from hand drawing and painting to digital art and photography—often guided by his mood. Much of his work is created spontaneously or draws inspiration from classic art.

Robert is a retired, self-taught artist who pursues art as a passionate hobby. He enjoys exploring a variety of techniques and is always willing to experiment with different methods.

Retired and art is a hobby

Jonah is an artist who focuses on pushing himself out of his comfort zone. Although he's mostly self-taught, he has dedicated significant time to his craft, donating work to the local Arts Council. He prefers not to have a phone or social media, allowing him to observe the world more and practice patience. His work primarily centers on graphite realism, with a strong talent for portrait and figure drawing.

William creates work that is abstract, ethereal, surreal—always reaching beyond the visible. He’s drawn to the unseen, exploring the invisible world through his art. His creative practice spans acting, music, painting, and singing, each medium offering a way to express the intangible.

The joy of life is in the EXPLORATION.

Amaris was born and raised in South Texas. After leaving her hometown, she began using her art to explore her family, culture, and personal experiences, offering a glimpse of herself to her audience. Her work often reflects themes of culture, trauma, grief, life, and appreciation. She works primarily in photography and painting.

Catarina is a Surrealist artist who paints and draws primarily from her emotions and the images she envisions. She draws inspiration for her art from music and the world around her. Her main mediums are drawing and painting.

Natalia is a contemporary, multi-disciplinary Mexican-American artist and jewelry designer based in Wichita Falls, TX. Skilled in realistic painting and emerging as a metal artist, her work ranges from small paintings to large installations. Natalia also works as a live wedding painter, proudly serving Texas and Oklahoma.

Sarah is a local amateur artist and full-time stay-at-home mom of two energetic boys. After years focused on intricate line art and crafts for her children, she recently rediscovered her passion through pet portraits in acrylics, selling several online. Skilled in drawing, painting, and layering, Sarah works methodically with brushes, markers, and ink, blending grayscale and vibrant colors. Art is her creative escape and a joyful way to reconnect with herself.

Anastasia has been creating art since childhood, guided by her grandfather’s influence but without formal training. She leans toward realism, developed through observation and practice. As a mother of three boys, she often finds limited time to paint, usually creating art that reflects the people and things she cherishes. Skilled primarily in pencil and pen drawing, she also explores painting and wood carving occasionally.
