Assemble your squad and get ready for a night of epic creativity! Watch as talented artists battle it out in three rounds of 20-minute masterpieces, all created with open materials.
The pieces will be auctioned off and the crowd will crown the ultimate champion of the night.

Artists
Artists can apply to compete. Also, most events have a ‘Wildcard’ easel, where artists leave their names at the door and we draw at random to pick the Wildcard Artist. To be a potential wildcard artist, just buy a ticket and show up!

Bernie Lukacs
Bernie is a multidisciplinary artist based in Pittsburgh, known for his abstract work across various media. In addition to his artistic practice, he is also a trained Art Therapist, integrating creativity with emotional and mental well-being.
Bob Freyer
Bob is an award-winning artist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, now based in North Huntingdon. Born in 1980, he grew up inspired by cartoons, imagination, and artists like Bob Ross, later influenced by hip hop, BMX, and graffiti culture. Since 2013, he has created daily, evolving from pop art with spray paint and stencils to original works using diverse materials like acrylics and oils. His art draws on childhood memories, personal insecurities, and moments often hidden by adulthood. Inspired by his two young kids, Bob paints primarily for himself, using his work as a way to express his experiences and view of the world.
Christopher Patrick (Chloverfeld)
Chloverfeld creates his “fantasyscapes” intuitively, without sketches or plans—just colors, a sense of adventure, and his imagination guiding the brush. He enjoys working with acrylics on canvas, often mixing in spray paint or markers. Previously, he spent years drawing detailed mandalas with permanent markers, finding the process therapeutic. He also finds satisfaction in building intricate collages, carefully collecting and arranging each element over time.
Ellastaire
Ellastaire is a local Pittsburgh gothic fantasy artist. She is a master of fantasy acrylic painting, drawing on classic inspirations to transport viewers into magical realms. Her work invites the imagination to explore themes of horror, mystery, and the timeless struggle between light and darkness.
Kate Owens
Kate is a dynamic artist, educator, strength coach, and wedding DJ who thrives on curiosity and growth. Her creative roots run deep—she’s been painting, performing in musicals, dancing, and singing jazz since childhood. With over a decade of teaching experience, she’s guided students from preschool to college in discovering their own artistic voices.
Korey Edmonson
Korey is an artist from Pittsburgh who creates engaging, story-driven work inspired by anime, comics, and street culture. Growing up drawing cartoons on cereal boxes and blankets, Korey developed a passion for character-focused portraiture that aims to make people feel seen. Korey’s art is often shared through murals, live painting, and public installations that bring vibrant stories to life.
Kyla Yager
Kyla is an intuitive abstract painter who utilizes her ADHD and emotional mindset to paint the energy of the room. With a vibrant palette, funky faces, and intricate linework, her maximalist paintings have a personality of their own. She paints with the intention of connecting viewers through eyes of empathy, collectively healing through creativity, spirituality, and community. Kyla is originally from New Orleans, and is currently working as a full-time artist in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Morgan Smith
Morgan is a lifelong artist who finds relaxation and joy through painting. They have experience creating window art at nursing homes and are currently studying to become an art teacher. Morgan works in a range of media including ink, Procreate, charcoal, colored pencil, marker, and paint, and looks forward to sharing their creative skills with others.
Suzanne Werder
Suzanne is a Pittsburgh-based artist and educator whose work explores the silly, the sacred, and the sublime. She transforms overlooked materials and uplifts marginalized voices through portraiture and installation. As founder of the Busnegie Museum of Art—a gallery in a bus shelter—she showcases local artists and reimagines public space as a platform for connection and visibility.
