Courtney Standridge
I’ve been creating my whole life with my main focus being sewing, sculpting and painting. I’ve worked in TV, film, and created an award winning sculpture for Redbull. I’ve always felt called to make a big impact and decided to become a Firefighter in 2022. I’ve recently found my way back to art as a way to find peace and a way to release what I deal with at work. My style is abstract, textured, whimsical and organic. I rarely have a plan- just go with the flow- like life.
Jai Kalondra
Jai Kalondra is multidisciplinary artist from the SouthSide of Chicago! Motivated by the need for more color and authentic representation in her community. Jai is known for her specialization in portrait art, murals, and body painting where she captures the essence of divine femininity. Through her journey she continues to be a catalyst for positive black representation.
KayDee Dohs
I am a 24 year old from Las Vegas that went to art school to become an animator and came out in love with abstract expression and life drawing. I love how the body can contort itself into organic forms whilst connecting these shapes to neurographical imagery. My art portrays the struggles that come with living with bipolar disorder, that I had discovered I had during art school, and how I use it to cope with my reality. I want to use my platform to spread awareness on the effects of bipolar and its stigmatization in society.
Maddie McAllister
Maddie loves alla prima and en plein air painting, making this competition a perfect fit for her. She’s an art fanatic—a girl who simply loves to paint and connect with fellow creatives. Specializing in oil painting, Maddie draws inspiration from Impressionism, Baroque, Rococo, and Pre-Raphaelite art, creating portraits, landscapes, and still lifes.
MADDNESS
Alexis (aka MADDNESS) is a self‑taught, multi‑medium artist from Chicago. She focuses on painting and digital illustration/graphic design, blending pop surrealism, Afrofuturism, and anime/cartoon influences. Creating has always been part of her life, and she shares her work to connect, inspire, and keep art at the center of her world.
Oksana Hrynenko
I’m an artist from Ukraine. After the war began, I came to the USA, where I found a new home and space to create.
I love painting portraits because I see light, emotions, and something real in every face. Architecture inspires me just as much — old facades, quiet streets, and windows that silently hold their stories.
After ten years without painting, life’s difficult moments brought me back to art, and I realized how much I truly love it. Painting helps me discover myself, find joy in simple things, and feel inspired by people and nature.

My art symbolizes the push and pull between pain and pleasure, how one always will amplify the other. I’ve been a professional artist for almost three years and I’ve shown within venues in Chicago and New York.
