Emily is an 18‑year‑old artist studying Fine Arts at the University of Auckland after years of teaching herself. She’s obsessed with New Zealand’s nature and loves painting birds, flowers, trees—pretty much any animal she can find. Her dad got her into art young, and by 15 she’d started shaping her own style, mixing early Renaissance influences with her own twist.
Neelam is a painting artist from India now living in Aotearoa. She has a Master of Arts in Fine Arts and has created more than 800 pieces in all kinds of styles and mediums. She’s comfortable working with everything from watercolor to oil paint and has also taught art back home. Nature is her biggest inspiration and shows up throughout her work.

19 year old originally from auckland. I've been painting only for around 2 years, but I share my deep rooted passion for birds through my canvas, and I hope to share my passion with everyone.
I'm a self taught artist from Scotland that has called Aotearoa home for the past 7 years. A recent first time mum rediscoving my artistic style between feeding, loving and nurturing my little boy. I want to take part in art battle to prove that no matter were you are at in your life journey there is always room to express yourself.
I am a Chinese artist now based in Auckland. My love for painting began in childhood, and my dream has always been to become a cartoonist. Professionally, I work as a graphic designer and an art teacher. My artistic style is diverse, yet I’m consistently drawn to a vivid, colorful, and lively aesthetic. I often weave animals and characters into my work, infused with unique and imaginative touches. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums, from the fluidity of watercolor to the versatility of digital painting. One of my greatest joys is participating in Art Battle competitions—there’s nothing quite like creating alongside so many talented artists. It’s truly an inspiring experience!
I am a 23-year-old painter and recent graduate of Elam School of Fine Arts. Having painted my whole life, my work has developed an inherent quirkiness, guided by spontaneity and what brings me joy in the moment. I’m excited to see how this playful approach could unfold within the art battle scene.
