Experience a powerful fusion of live art and history as Art Battle joins the Canadian War Museum for Inspired by the Vault. For one night only, artists will create original works live, drawing inspiration from rarely seen pieces in the Museum’s Beaverbrook Collection of War Art.
In Art Battle’s signature high-energy format, artists compete in three fast-paced rounds as the crowd cheers them on and votes. The top two face off in a final round, where one is crowned champion. With DJ-spun beats and an electric atmosphere, this is art and history like you’ve never seen before.
For one night only, explore a pop-up gallery featuring the historic artworks selected by the competing artists and admire the new creations they inspired — all in Art Battle’s signature high-energy format.

Dom Laporte
📍 Ottawa, ON, CA
Dom is the Lead Artist and co-founder of Drift Murals. An award-winning muralist, illustrator, and mixed media artist, he’s painted 120+ large-scale works worldwide—from museums to tech giants. His style blends street art, portraiture, and nature to tell bold, community-driven stories that spark connection and pride.
Emilie Brianna
📍 Ottawa, ON, CA
Emilie is a lawyer by day and an artist by night, creating vibrant, nature‑meets‑tech pieces straight from her imagination. She’s known for starting her paintings with her hands, and she treats Art Battles as a playful challenge—always experimenting and finding new ways to make the crowd’s night more fun.
Hamdullah Arbab
Hamdullah is a portrait artist who finds stories in people’s faces. He works in oil and watercolor—watercolor especially for its soft, expressive detail. He loves experimenting with palettes, plein air, and tonalism, always chasing new ways to explore light, color, and emotion. For him, art is connection and a bridge between people.
Isabelle Daigle
Deux focuses on surrealism and mixed media. She like originality and experimenting with all mediums. She's most excited for the challenge and the adrenaline rush!
Kina Forney
📍 Ottawa, ON, CA
Kina is a multidisciplinary artist currently practicing acrylic and oil painting from The Loft Art Studios in Ottawa. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University in Montreal. She co-founded the artist collective Artawa with her partner in 2016. She currently teaches painting and drawing to all ages at the Ottawa School of Arts in Orleans. She is also a member of the Urban Art Collective.
Rameshwaram Rughoobur
Pravee Rughoobur is a contemporary visual artist with over 17 years of experience, working primarily in mixed media, abstraction, and modern art. His work has been exhibited internationally in events such as Salon de Mai, Salon d’été, ACA Group Exhibitions, and Artcom Expo International (Norway), with artworks held in collections across Canada, the USA, Europe, and Mauritius. Based in Canada, his practice reflects a strong contemporary voice that explores emotion, form, and materiality.
Sarah O'Neill
📍 Ottawa, ON, CA
Sarah is a contemporary figurative artist with a focus on emotive storytelling through portraiture. She enjoys creating spontaneous art and has found inspiration in the pressure and imperfections of speed painting at Art battle. Sarah works as a full-time graphic designer and continues her creativity after hours in her paintings.
Vincent Bolduc
Vincent makes art with a purpose, using subversive figurative and abstract work to challenge traditional themes of sexuality and violence. He debuted in Art Battle in 2015 and that same year went on to represent Ottawa at the National Championships.
