Abigail is a mixed-media artist, born in Saint John, New Brunswick, now expanding her craft at Mount Allison University. Her earlier pursuits, she worked collaboratively with other artists and alternatively alone, these pursuits were driven in social activism, using paint as way to confront the world head on. Lately, her work has turned inward, chasing colors of memory and the comfort that comes with nostalgia. Although her love for paint still remains apparent, she's branched out towards different mediums such as, sculpture, printmaking, and collage.
Anna makes art by following her curiosity. Natureâs her biggest museâlight, wind, quiet moments, all of it sneaks into her work. She mixes expressionism and surrealism, dives into ideas before she âgetsâ them, and loves helping others tap into their own creativity. If youâre into art that feels alive, stick around and letâs make something cool together.
