Ashlynn Richmond

Ashlynn Richmond

Hey y'all I'm Ash!
I'm a pretty new painter and an AVID doodler! I enjoy mediums like markers (My everyday medium is sharpies), Acrylic paint, and I draw digitally! As of the moment I have no classical training just tidbits I've learned and picked up from watching my mom learning with her my whole life. Lol
Trying to get out there and find my voice in art. My primary style is cartoonist, drawing inspiration from artists like Don Bluth and Steve Garcia (and many, MANY more!)
Christopher Sayles

Christopher Sayles

Christopher is an independent, natural‑born artist who works across all mediums. He’s known for creating original pieces, with three successful art events, public murals, and contributions to the Make‑A‑Wish Foundation shaping his creative path.
Duke Williams

Duke Williams

Duke returns to the Art Battle scene after competing in multiple events over the past few years. He uses art therapy to express how he sees the world, exploring different mediums with a focus on painting and inking. His work leans into dank abstract expressionism, often using either the absence of color or heavy, bold tones to shape his designs.
Jordan Scribner

Jordan Scribner

I'm an illustrator, comic artist, and animator with a body of work defined by bright colors, dynamic action, and a sense of humor undercutting horrific monsters or everyday politics. Nothing brings me more joy than twisting the unsettling into a big laugh and a warm feeling while keeping the audience engrossed in an image. Aside from the straight-up gross subjects that are fun to draw, the nastier themes of mental health struggles, queer life in the midwest, and surviving under an oligarchy are foundational to my experience. Prime material to poke fun at while I play with pretty paints.

Currently, I teach animation and coordinate the Design, Interactivity and Media Arts program at Metropolitan Community College. I also run my own freelance art company, Jordan Scribbles LLC, where I take commissions and work with small businesses on murals, 3D modeling/printing, and film VFX. In my professional work during this AI hype age, I love hybridizing digital art, traditional media, and manufacturing tools to make beautiful physical artifacts. The kind of keepsakes that we all adore holding and cherish for years. The things that robots and tech billionaires have no idea how to create or even know what to do with.

Fancy tricks aside, it all comes back to that foundation in drawing and painting on good old canvas and paper. Getting my hands dirty and competition are two of my favorite things, so I'm ready to battle!
Vicente Vega

Vicente Vega

Vicente is a 35‑year‑old Latino artist living in Omaha, Nebraska. He’s been drawing and painting for as long as he can remember, learning entirely through trial and error. His inspiration comes from his love for his family and for art, often striking like a sudden flash that pushes him to create.
